10 reasons why My Hero Academia is a terrific anime
The My Hero Academia anime and manga tell the same story, with some differences. Here's what the former does better than the latter. My Hero Academia is easily one of the best modern shonen titles around.
The superhero genre has exploded into popularity in recent years, mostly thanks to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but My Hero Academia is a surprisingly unique take on it. The world of MHA is a place where 80 percent of the population has some kind of special power, known as a “Quirk.”
My Hero Academia's soundtrack has dozens of outstanding and catchy songs that perfectly convey the right emotions and mood for any scene, from tension and horror to comedy, exciting action, and sorrow. The song "You Say Run" is an instant classic that can make anyone feel like a true hero, even without any lyrics.
I know a lot of people love to trash MHA without any reason but I just caught up with season 3 and realized it's the best anime of all time.
My Hero Academia is the type of anime that excels in all the things a typical shonen should be. The characters are entertaining and have their own personalities, the action is amazing, it's funny and the powers are super interesting.
My Hero Academia has been the single most popular Japanese anime since its launch in 2016. It's captured the hearts and minds of millions in Japan, America, and people across the world—and for good reason.

MHA is a masterpiece, Deku is probably the most well written and nuanced shounen protagonist I've ever seen, he has so much character development, while mcs from overrated shounen like Luffy, Gon, Naruto, Hinata, Edward Elric and Mob are really static, even if they do develop it's not much and 90% of the time they don' ...

Bleach is (for now) completed so if you've got the time binge it all. Fillers are meh so try a bit of them and if you don't like it then skip ahead. MHA on the otherhand is not complete but only at season 3 so you could easily and much more quickly finish all current episodes of it then move onto Bleach.

It's toxic because it's one of the biggest communities in anime right now. A lot of the “toxic fans” are really just over-exited little kids who are just getting into anime. Really they're just having a fun time and being kids, while other people ignore the actual problems that go on in the fan base.
The plot is kind of typical But after some time, the plot becomes the same as other shounen anime where the protagonists become the most powerful hero out there, especially after Deku gets All Might's power. There isn't something new about the plot and that makes the anime overrated.
Mha is NOT childish, as a fan of mha who's also watched all of Naruto, I can say this honestly. Naruto is a very good anime yes, but so is Mha. Yes its similar, but it is not a 'rip off.
Reasons You Should Be Watching My Hero Academia. One of the best things about MHA is the robust cast of characters it introduces you to with Class 1-A. Even more surprising is the fact that it gives many of these characters time in the spotlight, and really tries to flesh out the majority of the class. Although Midoriya is, of course, the main ...
Shounen anime are often very action-focused, and plenty of shows like Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, and Blue Exorcist have pretty fantastic action scenes. MHA easily shoots near the top of this list with some absolutely great animation, matched with well thought out fight sequences.
The world of MHA is a place where 80 percent of the population has some kind of special power, known as a “Quirk.” This super-powered society has changed the way people live and the world works, creating an entirely new profession where professional “heroes” keep the peace, in accordance with regulations set by the police force.
Serialized anime can often drag due to filler being introduced while they try and wait for the manga to catch up. This is something that shows like Naruto, One Piece, and Dragon Ball have all suffered from at various points. MHA made a wise choice to help its pacing and avoid filler by opting to be a seasonal anime.
Although Midoriya is, of course, the main character, MHA deliberately takes time to give story arcs to specific characters like Shoto Todoroki, the son of the number two hero, Tenya Iida, the youngest son in a family of heroes, and the fan-favorite frog-hero Tsuyu Asui. This makes Class 1-A really feel like a team of heroes, ...
The show revolves around a set of talented students attending U.A. High School, studying to become professional heroes. U.A. functions like any other high school with classes, extracurriculars, and everything else.
Superhero fans are a finicky bunch, if you hadn't already picked up on that fact. Superhero fans crave novelty in their favorite books and characters, yet they can also revolt violently against any kind of changes to said stories and characters. But with My Hero Academia, they get a superhero origin story setup that any fan can relate to.
As stated, My Hero Academia contains a lot of classic elements of the superhero genre; in fact, Izuku's origin story sounds a lot like the story of Billy Batson in Shazam!. Yet, while MHA is borrowing a lot of superhero tropes, one of best things fans will love about it is just how refreshing the anime makes those old tropes feel.
Superhero universes need to be bolstered by strong characters which is why you always see Spider-Man associated with the Marvel brand (with or without a new film to carry him), or why Batman and Superman will forever be flagship characters for DC. One of My Hero Academia 's biggest thematic centerpieces is its own superhero icon: All Might!
Superhero movie fans have grown somewhat weary of watching the same origin stories get told over and over again, which is why team-up stories have become a particularly exciting "event film" sell.
No point in having a team of fun superhero characters if you can't also deliver what superhero genre fans truly love: some kick-ass villains!
As we've stated, both the heroes and villains of My Hero Academia are pretty cool, which is why the show, as a whole, actually functions as one big fun ensemble.
If you need a final reason to love My Hero Academia as a superhero fan, here's a simple one: it's got better superhero action than just about any western superhero movie or animated series you're likely to see!
In my personal opinion, yes, My Hero Academia is a good anime. It has a nice story, a cool art style, great animation and fun characters. At its base, it’s a generic shounen anime; but this “generic shounen” incorporates slice of life aspects into its series, alongside emotional and eye appealing fight scenes!
The plot is cool and all of the graphics are fun and energetic. However, the main character, Deku, though he is cute and somewhat cool, he is also boring. He doesn’t really change emotionally or mentally in the entire anime. He also isn’t nearly as interesting compared to his classmates.
There is no best of anything, weather that be anime, manga, video game, ect. People are always going to have differing opinions with each other. I think that MHA is a really good anime and it is my favorite and to me MHA is the best anime, but to another person Dragon Ball could be the best anime.
Plot: The plot of this anime is very good due to great character development and there are very little filler episodes so you always get right into the action. The plot basically revolves around Izuku trying to become a hero like All Might think I basically covered the main points in the Character Development section.
From the start we see that Izuku always wanting to be a great hero like his role model All Might, All Might is the number one hero in all the world and is an all round great guy. The problem that Izuku faces is that he isn’t born with a quirk, which is basically a superpower, this creates a major. Continue Reading.
