Tsuneo and Josee drive to a beach where Josee sees the ocean for the first time. They later spend the night at a love hotel, where Josee tells Tsuneo about how lonely her life had been before she met him. A few months later, Josee and Tsuneo break up.

I really wanted to like this one. Ever since december I've been anxiously waiting for the day I would bem able to see it. The trailer was amazing, the artstyle was gorgeous, and the mysterious title hinted at deep metaphors, and everything pointed at an emotional story full of meaning.
The only real problem I have with this film is the film's constant usage of chromatic aberration-- it's genuinely irritating to look at, and overly distracting in some scenes, otherwise there's nothing wrong with the animation, I guess.
