The Hybrid Child is an amazing android that can grow if it is lavished with enough love and care from its owner. Neither fully machine nor fully human, the various Hybrid Child models develop strong emotional bonds with their owners.
For only four episodes, where the first and second arcs are only one episode each and the third is only two episodes, you wouldn't expect there to be much character development, if any at all, but Hybrid Child is an excellent example of when things are done right.

Overall, I recommend it to everyone, whether you are into shounen-ai genre or not. This anime is definitely worth watching. Hybrid Child was a one-shot romance manga from 2005. It was written by Nakamura Shungiku.
