Black Clover has anime canon episodes apart from fillers. Anime canons are different from fillers because they are actually incorporated by the creator of the manga, Yuki Tabata. He has looked over some of the anime-exclusive episodes instead of letting the staff churn out useless fillers.
Yes so far they are good. The author of black clover is supposedly in charge of making the arc so it could be connected with the manga. Since the manga isn’t that far away from the anime.so they made a canon arc to give more time for more manga chapters.

The last manga canon episode is 129. Similar to Urashiki’s arc from Boruto. It's a Studio Pierrot thing that makes no sense and actually gives them negative feedback. Technically it’s all a part of the 10th arc that many people call Asta’s Trial Arc or the Heart Kingdom Training Arc, but you can skip all of the anime-only episodes if you want.
There are 22 anime-exclusive or anime canon episodes in Black Clover. Do not skip these anime-canon episodes, as they have a well-structured storyline and are really fun to watch despite lacking a manga arc!
You don't have to watch it, seeing as it's mostly relevent just to the anime.
In total, those wishing to enjoy "Black Clover" without any filler should skip episodes 29, 66, 68, 82, 123-125, 131, 134 through 135, and 142 through 148. Technically, there are other episodes that are non-canon to the manga or contain a mixture of canon and non-canon content.
An incredibly small one, yes. They skip time about six months as the Black Bulls train to prepare to fight enemies from the Heart Kingdom.
Black Clover shares a bit of good natured fun each new episode during its non-canon, comic relief Petit Clover segments, and it's here that Studio Pierrot often cracks jokes at themselves too.
Also, the anime canon allows you to see what the characters from Naruto are up to in this new era more so than the manga, so that's really enjoyable to witness as well. With all that said, yes the anime canon is worth watching. The following episodes are definitely worth your time in addition to the manga canon.
Episode 28 has the makings of a filler episode (it's not), by virtue of not moving the plot forward and instead focusing on throwing the characters into a wacky sitcom scenario.
Now that the anime series is transitioning to a new storyline, many are expecting “Black Clover” episode 66 to be a so-called filler episode. But, there are reasons why fans must still look forward to it.
Anime canon or manga canon is a bad choice of words because the anime and manga don't exist in the same timeline, the anime changes some details as a way to improve the story and characters. So, everything in the anime qualifies as "anime canon" and everything in the manga plus novels is "manga canon".
Because his training couldn't improve his use of magic like the others, instead he trained his body like he did before. The six months ended up being a major improvement to him as he revealed all sorts of new control over his anti-magic abilities, but he also became much more muscular and solid.
The time skip in Black Clover is in episode 158. The episode is titled "Dawn of Hope and Despair". After the time skip, the looks of the characters have changed. The time skip if of six months and ends with most of the characters becoming stronger.

The anime is ongoing with 3 seasons and is currently on an anime-exclusive arc. There are 9 filler episodes in total, and the series has an extremely low filler percent of 6%. The fillers are mostly recap episodes and hence, are sometimes really annoying. It is recommended that you skip the fillers. If you still feel like checking out the fillers, ...
Most anime are animated adaptations of manga and Black Clover isn’t any different. Usually, when a manga is ongoing, it needs to have abundant content that could be incorporated into the anime. In the case of Black Clover, the manga does not have sufficient chapters that can be adapted into the anime and hence, the fillers.
Anime canon means episodes canon to only the anime, which means in Manga Canon (they are two seperate things) they didn’t happened. It's different from filler where filler is just useless episodes that only serve to let the Manga get ahead, Anime Canon is slightly better stuff, maybe an arc or a more exciteful stuff.
DS is the only manga that outsold One Piece in the past decade (Yes, not Shingeki no Kyojin, not BC nor BNHA) that’s certainly not just because of nothing (Popularity≠Great, but it’s a good indicator, especially in shonen).
You don’t have to watch it , seeing as it’s mostly relevent just to the anime. That said, episode 154 does actually have relevence to the manga. That’s because what Langris does in that episode and the choices he makes is followed upon in the manga in the Spade Arc.
That said, episode 154 does actually have relevence to the manga. That’s because what Langris does in that episode and the choices he makes is followed upon in the manga in the Spade Arc. And Yuno’s actions in that episode, as well as his promotion in episode 152 is relevent. Also, the anime-canon is actually fairly enjoyable except ...
BNHA is my number 2 on-going best long-shonen manga, behind BC, it’s good but its plot isn’t as original as the other 2. The anime is the best on-going long-shonen no doubt, the animation is good, the epic moments are rightly portrayed and they aren’t rushing it.
BC is probably the best long shonen manga currently on-going, it has a good art style, a decent plot, and great characters (Especially female) when compared to other mangas . However, the anime isn’t that way, Pierrot is spending all the budget in the openings and endings (Or it seems to).
Sure, there are recap episodes - 152 is a mixture of recap and a little bit character interacts, for instance - but for the most part the other episodes add to the consequences of that arc, expand on the different characters, showcase some of their training and there’s even a mini-arc with a pretty decent twist.
You can skip most of the fillers in Black Clover, we even recommend it. Most of the fillers are episode recaps and can be very irritating to lose time on them.
There are not many good filler episodes in Black Clover, but if you want to watch some, then we would recommend watching Black Clover filler episode 131 called “A New Resolve,” and maybe filler episodes from 142-148. They have good lore and great worldbuilding, but the execution is pretty bad.
