But I was reminded of why I started this account and that was to provide legimate anime news between this cluster of fakeness. Well when I first published the tweet based on what I saw in PV, I thought it was a josei/BL anime which it isn't according to Myanimelist. According to Myanimelist it is a sports/drama anime.
We're excited to announce that the 2.43 Seiin High School Boys Volleyball Team English dub is officially on its way to Funimation, and we've got details on the series cast and crew!
Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+
Honestly, 2.43 is just Haikyuu, but make it more serious and have an edgier main character and boom, that is the foundational premise for 2.43. If you enjoyed Haikyuu as I did, I would 100% give this show a shot. Both shows are about Volleyball, however 2.43 Seiin has more darker drama.

Haikyu!! (ハイキュー!!, Haikyū!!, from the kanji 排球 "volleyball") is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. The story follows Shoyo Hinata, a boy determined to become a great volleyball player despite his small stature.
The story itself is decent, but paired with bad pacing, then it'd be much much worst than it actually is. The characters are non-existent. Basically, anyone other than the two main characters and the two rival characters, aren't developed to make them "characters"....Reviews.Overall8Story6Animation8Sound7Character81 more row

I wonder if they'll ever make a sports anime focused around a female team? Volleyball is typically a female sport, but both times we have a well made Volleyball anime, it's focused around teams that consist of males.

The anime will stream on Funimation in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland; on AnimeLab in Australia and New Zealand; and on Wakanim in France, Germany, and Scandinavian countries. Funimation began streaming an English-subtitled trailer:
