The reason why Demon Slayer is so popular is similar to why Attack on Titan became a household name just months after its debut. Namely, the themes, opening episodes, and writing styles of the shows all help to bolster their popularity. A collage of images from Demon Slayer's premiere episode.
With a consistent string of solid episodes, interesting new characters, and beautiful animation, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba season 2 is already one of the must-watch anime of the Winter 2022 season. Season 2 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is currently streaming on Crunchyroll and Funimation.
one could make a case that that’s an inappropriate setting for an anime that, without question, a lot of young children are going to want to watch. Demon Slayer also contains a high level of violence throughout the series. Should that be removed as well?
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is unarguably one of the best anime series of 2019. Swordsmen that move with the grace of dancers, savage demons imbued with horrific powers, and flashes of steel that strike at the perfect moment are hallmarks of this remarkable series.
A BIG YESSSSS! It's definitely worth watching in my opinion………… It's embarrassing to say this but I teared up at around episode 19, due to how beautifully the scene was made out from the music, the emotions in characters, dialogue/plot and absolutely stunning animation all together made it a moment I'll never forget.
While the manga is beautifully illustrated, the art and animation quality of the Demon Slayer anime is truly something to behold. The way everything is drawn and animated in the series is extremely eye-catching and flows incredibly well.

Not for young kids... It's gory. There's lots of blood and some scenes show dead bodies of both adults and children. The main character is a demon slayer and the killing of demons is slightly less upsetting since they are fictitious characters but there's plenty of human killings too.
Despite how new it is, Demon Slayer is still one of the absolute best anime for beginners.
It’s what I call “Demon soccer” because of the way Nezuko kicks the ball back and forth. THIS battle so far is one of my favorites. Nezuko blasting the ball back and forth with enough force to literally rip someone’s head off was intense.
Main and support characters. tanjiro and nezuko. nezuko and tanjiro cute moments. The two MAIN characters are Nezuko, the younger sister of Tanjiro. Nezuko’s turned into a demon after her family is slaughtered by demons. And she inherits some demon blood herself, becoming a demon in the process.
Demon Slayer is a GOOD anime, but not a masterpiece. If you’re new to anime like a lot of people who are watching it, yes, you’ll enjoy it. This is true even if you’re an anime veteran who’s watched 100’s and 100’s of shows.

This popular series (subtitled in English) offers an entertaining story featuring many of the elements the genre is known for. But unlike most anime, it is set in the Japanese Taisho period, a time marked by a division between more technologically advanced, foreign-influenced societies, and those living more traditional ways of life.
Ufotable, the studio behind Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer, is known for hits like Fate/Zero, Fate/Unlimited Blade Works, and Tales of Symphonia. While not everything the studio animates is well-received, the company delivers truly stunning pieces of work.
See, an anime is an audio-visual service . To most people, anime is meant to please them but creators are looking beyond that. Generating revenue by complementing already existing material like the manga, older versions of anime, previous releases of anime, movies etc. Which means, half-assed jobs will not work.
Even Rui is only after revenge on the world, which is so lame. I’m sorry to you Demon Slayer fans, but the villains don’t really interest me, especially when compared to Naruto’s villains. Let me compare two of the major villains from the two, Pain and Muzan Kibutsuji.
In Naruto it's a nightmare and in bleach, although relatively less, it isn't any better.
The artwork is outstanding, musical score works very well to improve most scenes. While the story is a basic one , the characters are well developed enough to be very interesting. Personally I consider this anime better than some of the others that also have the same problem of being over hyped (e.g.
Its to the point where it was listed as the best anime in 2019. And while the anime is pretty nice (Wouldn’t say amazing). Its nowhere near as close as the best anime of the year. There has been lots of other anime better then Demon slayer believe it or not.

In the Clover Kingdom, nearly everyone has magic, but the hero, Asta, doesn't.
Out of the many anime titles on this list, Rumiko Takahashi's Inuyasha may be stylistically closest to Demon Slayer. Both shows feature a fantasy Japanese setting, magic swords and weapons, cool outfits, stunning backdrops, and most of all, vicious demons big and small!
Hirohiko Araki's manga series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has thrilled readers since 1987, and in 2012, an anime adaptation was launched. This classic series follows not just one hero, but the entire Joestar family, starting in the Victorian era with Jonathan Joestar.
9 Bleach. This is another widely popular Shonen title with a lot of overlap with Demon Slayer. They're almost cousins, in fact. In both series, you get a teenaged boy (Tanjiro, Ichigo) whose family is threatened by monsters, so both boys take up the way of the sword and fight the forces of evil.
14 Attack On Titan. At first, this popular anime series may seem pretty different than Demon Slayer, since the monsters are towering giants in a gaslamp fantasy world. But if you boil it down to the essentials, Attack on Titan is Demon Slayer 's gorier cousin.
