When it comes to horror anime, one of my biggest pet peeves is the over-reliance on gore and brutality to convey a sense of fear. While some shows like Monster, Paranoia Agent, and Parasyte: The Maximuse violence more as punctuation, Terraformarsjust hits CAPSLOCK and smashes its bloody hands across the keyboard.

Watching anime is one of the best family-friendly things to do at home. Anime has become more popular as a movie and TV program genre lately, and more children are absorbed in the fun contents not only in Japan but also worldwide.
According to the survey, more than 6,000 anime are produced, and more than 3,200 anime are aired on television. Also, about 60% of the all animations broadcasted in the world are made in Japan.
In addition to being one of the most widely popular anime around right now, Attack on Titan is also anime at its most gruesome, horrific, and bleak.
This horror anime has a distinctly creepy feel and at times in rather gory; the first death we see sets the scene as to what to expect; a girl trips while walking down the stairs and her umbrella impales her through the throat.
Death Note is a 2017 American supernatural crime thriller film adapted from the Japanese manga of the same name created by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. The film is directed by Adam Wingard and written by the writing team of Charles and Vlas Parlapanides and Jeremy Slater.
The voice acting is awful, mainly because the actors keep pausing in the middle of sentences for no reason. Maybe they, too, cannot believe Dark Cat actually got made into a real series.
This would be laudable for a high school student's senior project, but instead Hanoka sprung from a professional animation studio. It debuted in 2006, the era when flash animation on sites like Newgrounds started taking off. At the time, it made sense to launch a TV show made with Adobe Flash.
Wounded Man , a five- episode OVA from the '80s, utterly fails at this. Not only is protagonist Baraki a totally generic "bad boy" with few redeeming qualities, he assaults a reporter named Ryuko and beats up her male crew members in the first episode.
Even worse, Ryuko and Baraki end up falling in love, even given their history.
With nothing going for it aside from laughable stupidity, this anime ranks as one of the worst around. It now boasts something of a The Room following, where viewers recommend it on account of how bad it is.
Garzey's Wing stands as one of the most notoriously terrible anime ever made. The English dub makes for an excellent hate-watching with a group of friends, but if you desire something of actual quality, move on. Garzey's Wing concerns a dude named Chris who gets spirited away to a fantasy world, a promising premise that only works if your story has coherent plot points.
Skelter Heaven. In the world of anime, the premise of cute, busty high schoolers enlisting in the military actually sounds like a potential sleeper hit. Unfortunately, Skelter Heaven fails to turn this fan service into an anime worthy of any fandom whatsoever.
Despite what American television would have you believe, supernatural detective shows aren't necessarily a recipe for success. That goes double if the show in question is adapted from a mobile phone game. Studio! Cucuri didn't have much to work with here, but what little they had, they did even less with. Instead of solving cases, Holmes and Hudson spend their time lazing around an apartment they refuse to pay rent for. Hikikomori characters can be funny, but not when they're given inexcusably stilted animation and the blandest comedy you'll ever see. Even for a half-hour runtime, it's a truly wasted premise.
Though its characters suffer from "same face syndrome", Mars of Destruction doesn't give them samey personalities; rather, it opts to give them none at all. Its script is full of boneless exposition that reads like something you scribbled in your world history notebook when you were 12, and the sound ranges from uninspired growls to tinny public-domain orchestral pieces. It's difficult to find something without a single saving grace, but unlike the Earth of Mars of Destruction, our world is full of surprises.
Love Tyrant. One of the worst anime series of 2017. Love Tyrant is a rip off harem version of Death Note. Where the main character is able to write someone’s name in a “kiss note”, causing the person to fall madly in love.
An adventurer-type of anime series where characters level up and journey through dungeons. Not the most creative, but it felt good to watch it come together. But the abuse of fan service, “harem”, and Goddess Hestia who’s dressed no better than a prossy in a skimpy outfit.
The Garden Of Words is a beautiful anime .
Chobits seems like a good anime for how unique it comes off as . And it was ahead of its time when it comes to androids and robot girls.
The creators did a good job of making sure everything about Katana Maidens was original from the start.
Katana Maidens is a special case. It reminds me of Darling In The Franxx.
It’s no surprise that this anime is also a harem series. So many harems are the equivalent of horse sh**.
1. Ex-Arm (2.17) Ex Arm is a “ Crunchyroll Original” series, and to date, their worst rated. The anime did so bad it’s actually rated lower than any anime in the history of MAL. The anime staff also had no prior experience when working on the show. 2. Vampire Holmes (3.38)
5. Hanoka (3.67) Hanoka is described as: “The story takes place on a planet Tokinea where human beings and Star Races have been fighting. The story revolves around a girl who was made as “Demon God,” an ultimate weapon against human beings, and a boy who is a partner of the girl.”.
MyAnimeList is at a size where most fans are aware of it. And use it to keep track of how many anime they’ve seen. And even though I’ve said it’s not fully reliable for reviews, there’s still a case for it. Some anime for whatever reason, even when they’re not controversial, have the worst ratings. They end up in the dirt.
Made by a new studio called Saetta. They’re known for Yatogame-Chan.
The anime staff also had no prior experience when working on the show.
