A mysterious phenomenon stripped the humanity of the right to have a quiet life, with hopes and dreams. This plague is known as Spontaneous Human Combustion and turns people randomly into mindless creatures known as Infernals, which is the fate worse than death and causes one sufferings unimaginable.
"Fire Force" is an entertaining and very well-done title. However, at least by the end of season 1, does not do anything particularly different from the many entries in the shonen category. Fire Force is easily one of the best anime series of 2019.
Released during the powerful summer 2019 season, Fire Force is a shounen-action anime. Adapted by studio David Production, Fire Force is set in a world with a new cause of death. This phenomenon is called Human Combustion which turns humans into supernatural fire creatures known as Infernals.
At its best, Fire Force can keep the fans engaged with some of its fluid ideas. As this anime consists of dark fantasy, it also contains settings with thrilling secrets, such as the Netherworld.
There's nothing wrong with gushing over ships, but despite all the “indicators” given in Fire Force, romance will never take center stage. At most, we might see a relationship bloom between side characters, but not one where Shinra is involved.
The animation and choreography in Fire Force are quite stunning, but it earns the rating of TV-MA mostly in language and nudity.
It ran for 24 episodes. Funimation has licensed the series for streaming on FunimationNow.

He joins one of these firefighting teams, Special Fire Force 8 to be exact, as a means to find out what really happened. And now we know it's the prequel to Soul Eater. So far, there have been two seasons, and fans are looking forward to more.

Why Fire Force Season 1 isn't on Netflix US. It all comes down to licensing, and unfortunately, Netflix doesn't hold the license to stream episodes of Fire Force. Streaming services such as FUNimation and Crunchyroll have dominated the anime market in the US for years now.
Tokyo is burning, and citizens are mysteriously suffering from spontaneous human combustion throughout the city! Responsible for snuffing out this inferno is the Fire Force, and Shinra is ready to join their fight.
I’m extremely critical of anime no matter the genre, but this one needs a bit more critiquing than some others. I haven’t caught up to all the episodes, but I’m planning on watching the entire anime to solidify my review. My first impression was that this was gonna be an amazing anime.
Just a ques.. Is it too ecchi?? Cz I don't like watching too ecchi stuff... If not then I want to give it a try as I heard the action here is not bad.
My favourite and the most memorable openings, endings and background music in anime. I will name the artist, song and attempt to put a link to each song in the description. Please bear in mind that links may be dead (YouTube tends to delete a lot of the videos I use) and it would be very difficult to keep track of them all.
The lead character is Shinra Kusakabe, a teenaged boy who joins the Special Fire Force Company 8 at the beginning of the series after completing his training. Shinra is a third generation spontaneous human combustion machine with the ability to rely on the Devil’s Footprints. This ability allows him to ignite his feet, turning his kicks into flames and granting him the ability to fly, as well as helping him move about rapidly. This rapid movement early on plays a large part in Shinra’s ability to help when fighting the infernals. He joins up seeking to save as many people as possible, aiming to be a hero.
Technically, the primary villains of the series are the infernals. When they lose control of themselves, they can destroy anything in sight because they’re literally on fire all the time. This is what our heroes in Special Fire Force Company 8 are responsible for stopping. However, there’s also other threats waiting in the wings. For one, there’s Joker, a mysterious character appearing in the second and third episodes warning Shinra that there’s a bigger truth behind the fire that lost him his mother and his brother. But there’s also the Knights of the Ashen Flame, an organization hoping to recreate the original cause that damaged the planet.
Fire Force has been running as a manga series for about four years now, and has just recently made its way to the anime world. It's still pretty early days for the show, but here's ten things every anime fan should know about the series!
Shinra’s supporting characters for now are the cast of Special Fire Force Company 8. This includes Shinra’s rival Arthur, but it also includes the members who were there before him. At the beginning there are two women: Iris, a nun from the Holy Sol Temple, and Maki, a second generation fire user who was part of the Tokyo army before joining the Fire Force. There’s also Lieutenant Takehisa, another second generation who keeps everyone else on the otherwise rowdy team in line. Finally, there’s Akitaru, the leader of the organization who has no powers, but more courage and experience than anyone else on the team.
This is a great question. For one thing, the Fire Force manga is still running. Having begun in the pages of Weekly Shonen Magazine back in 2015, the manga stands at 17 volumes and over 180 chapters. David Production is supposedly turning this into a series which will run for two seasons of 24 episodes, but split into different seasons. This most likely means the first season will end at the beginning of January for the Winter season to start, and resume either in April for the Spring season, or in July again for the summer in 2020. This will hopefully avoid the series receiving an anime original ending like Atsushi Okubo’s Soul Eater.
The world we know is no more. A mysterious phenomenon stripped the humanity of the right to have a quiet life, with hopes and dreams. This plague is known as Spontaneous Human Combustion and turns people randomly into mindless creatures known as Infernals, which is the fate worse than death and causes one sufferings unimaginable.
In the English Dub, Jad Saxton plays the Cat Themed Fire Force Member Tanaki. Just 4 Months Prior, Saxton played another Cat Based character: Haru from My Roommate is a Cat.
Spontaneous Human Combustion: a chaotic phenomenon that has plagued humanity for years, randomly transforming ordinary people into flaming, violent creatures known as Infernals.

As of 2021, Fire Force has a total of 48 episodes divided into two 24-episode seasons. The first season of the show aired between July 6, 2019 and December 28, 2019. The second and so far final season aired a year later, from July 4, 2020 to December 12, 2020. This is what we know of the current structure of the Fire Force anime.
As you might have deduced, there is no trailer for the third season of Fire Force. Why? Well, simply because the third season of Fire Force has not been announced. The series is probably going to return, as we have said, but until we get an official confirmation of the production start, we won’t be seeing a trailer.
In order to tell you what you can expect from the anime, we have to see what we already know. The manga takes place in a future where sea level rise has collapsed continents and caused the disappearance of many 50 countries before.
As we have said, we don’t have any official info about the third season of Fire Force, so we can only speculate that the main cast from the first two seasons, both the Japanese and English voice actors, will return.
It might be too early to discuss a potential fourth season of Fire Force since we don’t even know whether a third season is going to appear, but there are some great indicators that Fire Force might go on even after a potential third season.
