During the Anime Expo in July 2019, Square Enix announced the English version of the series under the title My Dress-Up Darling and published it under its new publication imprint Square Enix Manga & Books. An anime television series adaptation was announced in the ninth issue of Young Gangan that was published on April 16, 2021.
The first My Dress Up Darling manga is published by Gangan which is Square Enix’s manga publishing division in Japan and, in the US the manga is released through Square Enix USA. My Dress-up Darling is initially called Sono Bisque Doll Wa Koi wo Suru . The manga was written by and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.

Unfortunately, My Dress-Up Darling aired episode 12 as its final episode of the season on March 27th, leading fans to wonder about a Season 2 and how long it'll take to get more wholesome Marin Kitagawa and Wakana Gojo moments gracing the screen once again.
In the added scene, Kitagawa called Gojo because she was scared while watching Horror movie. They talked till midnight and when Gojo was falling asleep Kitagawa confessed to him saying 'I Love You'. Kitagawa was not heavily blushing, just politely did confesses her love to Gojo.
It has been confirmed that My Dress-Up Darling will have a total of 12 episodes.

Sajuna Inui is a minor character in the series, first appearing in volume 2. After seeing Gojou’s first cosplay outfit online, she tracks him down to hire him for her next cosplay. She is a famous online cosplayer who goes by the name “Juju-san.”
A cosplayer who presents herself under the name of "Juju" (ジュジュ). She is a second year high school student who attends a school for girls but her physique does not correspond to her age.
The manga was ranked 16th for readers in the 2020 edition of the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! guide from Takarajimasha. The manga was ranked 3rd in Honya Club's Nationwide Bookstore Employees' Recommended Comics of 2020, a survey that collected results from 1,100 professional bookstore employees in Japan.
