When we last left off with "Saiki K. Reawakened," the show wrapped up its first season with a cliffhanger teasing the idea that Saiki regains his lost psychic powers, and is therefore able to save the planet from impending doom via meteor.

Saiki is more out to be a slice-of-life comedy anime. Animation is good. The characters are well made to fit in their comic roles. The voice actors are doing a really great job, although the dialogue is pretty fast sometimes and it may be a little hard to follow, but it is understandable for such a short anime.
Kusuo tried to get them back together which worked at first but failed in the end due to the latter's bad habits. Luckily, Kusuo eventually was able to get her to fall in love with Shun at the beach by increasing the strength of Shun's punch to keep the beach punk away from Chiyo and Kokomi.
It is highly recommended to view the Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan, also known as The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., anime series through this watch order: Season 1. Season 2. Reawakened Episodes 1-5.

Mikoto surprised that Kusuo was able to heal Chiyo. School starts again, and another transfer student comes into Kusuo’ s class. Her name is Mikoto Aiura and has psychic abilities to predict the future. She came to the school to find her “soulmate” who has the same characteristics as Kusuo.
Riki removes Kusuo's control device. In the fall, the school has their sports festival, Kusuo having to attend after his parents begging. There his class accidentally finds out he is a fast runner, no one telling him the other students he was competing against were part of the track and field team.

After Kusuo takes a direct hit from a baseball to his head walking past the field, he realizes one of the control devices on his head is missing.
Saiki was born to rather normal parents, although they gave birth to and raised to abnormal children. Ever since he was a baby, and even while he was in the womb, he had psychic powers, which he used since day one. However, his parents told him to not show anyone that he was a psychic, for unknown reasons.
In the manga, Saiki talks about how he was born female, but used his powers to transform into a male, however, it was never said in the anime. He also says that he doesn't know what his biological gender is because he already switched his gender in the womb of his mother.

Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan features a character like this named Kaidou Shun. He refers to himself as "The Jet-Black Wings!”. Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! follows Yuuta Togashi and his struggle in starting a new life. He previously lived as a chuunibyou; he referred to himself as "Dark Flame Master.”.
It is up to them to make the experience meaningful and lively. But for Seki-kun, nothing is boring when he has a variety of stuff to do in class! He spends most of his day playing creative games. However, this is a big inconvenience and annoyance to his classmate, Yokoi.
However, his ability to easily defeat villains has taken away the thrill of being a hero. On top of that, he’s not an officially registered hero. There’s a due process for that. Saiki really does sound like psychic. He has been a psychic since birth, but he claims that it isn’t what it’s made out to be. According to him, being a psychic is actually very inconvenient. Saiki is in high school now, and he’s trying to live a normal life.
TheBoom says... Both Saiki and Mob experience the struggles of having powerful psychic powers. Saiki tries to hide the fact he is a psychic from his friends, while Mob tries to keep his powers under control. The comedy from both anime stems from their respective problems.
One Punch Man and The Disastrous Life of Saiki K are very similar. They both feature an overpowered main character and are both parody/satire anime. The humor in both shows is very similar, especially in their take on overpowered characters and anime in general. They're both incredibly fun and hilarious to watch.
