The 13 Best Anime Like 'Black Clover'
Black Clover Is Worth The Watch. It might not be the most sophisticated anime but Black Clover is still a must watch show for any anime fan. by Andrew Weisell October 12, 2020 October 12, 2020 Leave a comment. When I first began Black Clover I did not take to it right away. The show is a 2016 anime based on the manga by Yuki Tabata.
Like in Naruto, Black clovers MC is striving to become a important figure and has a emence drive to accomplish their goal. Both MC has a rival that they want to surpass. Asta from Black Clover is essentially black Naruto with a similar goal and a black haired rival who is his superior when it comes to fighting.
Story-wise there's not much difference. The anime tends to take more time explaining things, the manga has a much faster pace. The art is much better in the manga, I haven't watch every episode of the anime but from what I saw I didn't really like some of the shots, they only really nail the designs in posters or concept art.
Then, once Tabata had learned what jump was looking for he created Black clover. Seemingly very very unoriginal in its formula approach to the point where many see it as a naruto ripoff for the first 50 ish chapters. So…black clover was Tabatas sellout shonen manga because jump cancelled his truly wonderful manga Hungry Joker.
As a shounen anime, Black Clover has everything going for it. It has a male protagonist with no parents, a sweet and caring best friend, a childhood dream that the protagonist wants to fulfill, and of course, loads and loads of fighting with the bad guys.
Black Clover wears its Naruto influences on its sleeve, and there are plenty of them.
Fairy Tail This interesting anime series is the closest to Black Clover. And just like Black Clover, it was a major hit, and its storyline gained the admiration of many fans. This awesome series follows the adventures of a young boy named Natsu Dragneel.
Black Clover has probably had the best and most significant turnaround in quality of any anime series I've seen so far, and it surely deserves all the praise and hype that it gets now as it trends worldwide more often than not, earning itself (in my book) the title of being a quality shounen series.
The majority of people hating on Black Clover always call it a Naruto clone but some of the things they say Black Clover copies are just common shounen troupes that Black Clover is just more vocal about but in a good way and some of those troupes are also done differently in both series.
Somehow Naruto and Asta are shockingly similar with how they act, what their dreams are and how they were born different from the rest. Sasuke and Yuno are similar as well with their rankings in both series, so the rivalry in both animes are similar as well.

2 days agoIt's entirely fair to say that Fairy Tail is a better series than Black Clover overall, or vise-versa. The former's pacing is superior, and its world is more colorful and idiosyncratic than Black Clover's, which hews far more closely to a typical Medieval Fantasy setting.
I am pretty sure their was no direct inspiration from Black clover to Bleach. But I still thought it was kinda funny because since both authors had a similar history. Both had their manga's axed that showed potential. Both made another series that became really popular.
Both are great shows. Black Clover is more focused on the different kinds of dazzling magic, the culture and society that people built with magic, etc. MHA is more realistic and based on real society (Japan). The show is more about teamwork and personal struggles.
The Big Three refers to three very long and very popular anime, Naruto, Bleach and One Piece. The Big Three was a term used to describe the three most popular running series during their golden age in Jump's mid 2000s period - One Piece, Naruto and Bleach.
According to many viewers, Black Clover is like a slight remix of Naruto, with 2 boys - a loudmouth and a calm, intelligent, genius kind of guy. One cannot use magic, while the other was deemed as a brilliant sorcerer, with the legendary 4-clover book. That is the reason why watchers think Black Clover is boring.
Radiant is an intriguing and action-packed anime series. It revolves around a 15year old boy Seth, who escaped a life-threatening attack called nemesis. Nemesis is a species of monsters that emerge from the sky, infusing people with a magic power called “fantasia.”
This is yet another fun and magic-filled anime series. It follows the story of Sistine Fibel and her best friend Rumia Tingel, who are both students of the Prestigious Magical Academy.
UQ holder is an anime full of magic, action, and fun adventures. It centers around the incredible adventures of a young boy named Tota Kanoe. During an attack, he is transformed into a vampire.
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is one of the best anime I could watch all day. It has great action and awesome fighting scenes. It follows the story of two teenagers, Simon and Kamina, who reside in a subterranean village.
World trigger is another interesting series more on the dark side. It is about a young boy named Yuma Kuga. He transferred to the third Mikado city middle school. One day, he encounters a boy who is a border agent.
This series is one of the best hits that gained many fans, with twists and action. It follows the story of a teenage boy Rin Okumura and his twin brother Yukio. He discovers that he and his brother are the sons of Satan.
Well, I can’t say this anime involves some fighting scenes like Black Clover, but it does concern the battle to become the best chef. This anime focuses on a young teenage boy, Soma Yukihira.
