With honor and benevolence, Shinji Yokohama (George Takei) is a good-hearted politician who decides to run for office after Takahara is assassinated by Hit-Monkey. With encouragement from his niece Akiko (Olivia Munn), he decides to take a public leadership role, putting a target on his back from Ozu, a fierce politician.

The quick transition from a bad guy to a good guy goes a long way in supporting his efforts.

As the most ethically-centered and good-hearted character on the binge-worthy Hulu anime, Haruka is impossible to dislike in Hit-Monkey. The moral compass of the show, Haruka is an honorable but naive policewoman who wants nothing more than to serve and protect Tokyo in the most effective way possible.

2 Akiko Yokohama

Ambitious, intelligent, and extremely industrious, Akiko Yokohama is among the most compelling characters in the show. Her touching relationship with her uncle Shinjo plays a part, but it's her succession of Lady Bullseye and her vow to act as a force of kindness that givers her such a sterling status. Well, at least until the final episode.
