Yes, the Haikyuu manga is over. But for the anime, a lot of content is yet to come. Safe to say, Haikyuu will not be ending with Season 5.

Haikyuu!! has officially come to an end with Chapter 402 of the series, and one of the coolest things it does is complete a final arc that sent the series several years forward into the future.
There is a total of 4 seasons of Haikyuu. 4th season is divided into two parts and 5 OVAs of Haikyuu. The story of all the seasons and the OVAs highlights the achievements and problems the Karasuno High Volleyball team and Hinata face to realize their dream of being a part of the nationals.
I briefly mentioned all the Haikyuu seasons, OVAs, and the movies in a simple chronological order. Now it’s time to go through the brief storyline of each so that you may know why this show is worth every second of your time.
In my opinion, you have to watch Haikyuu in order to get a better understanding of the show, but technically, you don’t have to watch the movies and the OVAs to follow the storyline. OVAs describe what happened in the seasons in detail to help you understand the story in-depth. But you can watch the four seasons only to get the general storyline.
Hinata Shouyou, a short middle school student, gained a sudden love of volleyball after watching a national championship match on TV. Determined to become like the championship's star player, a short boy nicknamed "the small giant", Shouyou joined his school's volleyball club.
This anime is very brilliantly crafted. Compelling characters, beautiful and strong openings, natural comedy and superb animation makes this anime a must watch. 10/10

We have all been asking for the trailer of season 5 and have been anxiously waiting for it, yet we don’t even know if there will be a season 5. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, all animes and their studios have taken a big hit. Consequently, many animes are being dropped by their respective studios, never to be adapted again.
The good news is that there will be a season 5, but now the question arises, WHEN? This might be a little disappointing for fans, but there is no release date provided by Studio Production I.G as of now, although we could get it a soon as the end of the year or the first month of 2022 .
Now that we know about the release date and its complications, it’s time we talk about the trailer.
The 5th season of Haikyuu will take Hinata on a new journey to go to high school. As for his volleyball career, it is expected that the story will mainly focus on Hinata and his developments as he takes his new experiences into account.
Haikyuu is a mixture of both comedy and drama and a lot of volleyball. It has generic school rivalries, problems, and a good storyline. Its humor has made millions laugh and made people obsessed with this anime. It also has wholesome moments and beautiful friendships depicting the true meaning of friends.
Most of us are still restricted to a certain amount by COVID-19 restrictions, so I would recommend giving this series a try and find out for yourself why it has amassed so many fans. Even if you don’t like volleyball, I’m sure you will relate to those characters and get attached to them and will be able to feel all their sorrows and happiness.
Season 5 might be the last season of Haikyuu, not because of anime production, but because season 5 might wrap up the story that the manga provided, which ended in 2020. The anime production studio deciding to follow the Manga story or not will determine that.
