If you want to follow the “proper” order, you should watch first Fate/Zero, then Fate/Stay Night UBW from ufotable (not the movie version) and finally the movie Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel. However, ufotable put a lot of references in FSN: UBW that will fly over your head if you haven’t watched Fate/Zero.
Therefore, keep on reading as I unveil to you the best order to watch Fate Anime Series. 1. Fate/Zero (2011) 2. Fate/Stay Night (2006) 3. Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (2010) 4. Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel (2017) 5. Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA ILLYA (2013) 6. Fate/Grand Order (anime movie) (2020) 7. Fate Apocrypha (2017) 8.
The war in novel Fate/Apocrypha bends the usual rules, as it's a 7-vs-7 team match rather than a battle royale. German hero Siegfried serves as the Saber of Black, and he's arguably their strongest member, perhaps the only servant who can hold his own against the red team's Rider and Lancer.

This movie is the end of fate/stay night but there still is no adaptation of Fate/Hollow Ataraxia which is the sequel to fate/sn, although you can end the series with this movie since it doesn't leave you with any questions and it also gives you a perfect conclusion to the series.
In what order should I watch the Fate Series? Definitely watch Fate/Zero first before anything else. Then watch Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works the TV series. Fate/Zero is the prequel to FSN, so it's recommended watching that way.
Whereas the film is two hours long, the adaptation is a complete 26-episode series.
Well, Stay Night is the Core Franchise, I think it's best to watch the spin offs after SN's 3 routes. If you want to miss the masterpiece that is Heaven's Feel, yes you can skip.
