Step 1: The Calm Before the Storm

Well before we got started taking the dremel apart, first get the power supply/connectors set up and ready to use. 1) Have connector secured to wire 2) Make sure your PSU is off before plugging/wrapping wire end in 3) After all is connected TEST IT. For this a used a 20mm pc fan (I'd rather lose a cheap fan if something went wrong)

Step 2

Taking the dremel apart This is pretty easy to do, just make sure you pull off the power pack and attachments are off it. Once done with those two things you’ll now twist the top off. After that you'll have two T6 screws. TO THE NEXT STEP!!!

Step 3

Now that you have the cover off the rest will be just as easy. Pull the whole motor out (WARNING: Be CAREFUL not to lose the bit locking spring on the housing.) Then pull off the blue bottom part (should slide off), you should see two pongs one positive and will have red dot next to it. Thus meaning the other one is negative.

Step 4: Testing the Motor

Test the motor with the power supply at 3 to 4 volts being speed 1 and then speed 2 at 6 to 7 volts [7.2 MAX for the dremel I'm using] If all is well your ALMOST DONE!!! The AUX info http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgSIGViP8pU

Step 5: Putting It Back Togather

Now the last part putting it back together which is easy but I didn't just leave the wires hanging. What I did here was simply took apart the battery pack which consisted of 6 AA rechargeable batteries. I drill a small for the cord to come out I also had to cut part of the top for the clips to fit right . All and all went pretty well.
