We will first start by drawing the face of the dolphin. For this, draw a curved line to make the head. Under this, draw another curve to make the mouth and the lower jaw. Make sure the structure and shape are right because this is the starting step of your drawing. Ensuring the right shape for the mouth will make the drawing easier.
Now we will proceed to draw the body of the dolphin. For this, extend the curves on either side. This will make both the back and the front of the dolphin. On the back, draw a small fin. Similarly, draw a fin below the face of the dolphin. Make sure this fin is longer than the previous one. Now draw another fin on the middle body.
Extend the lines you made to draw the body. As you move downward, decrease the space between both lines. In the end, we will draw the tail. You need to draw a W like figure with freehand lines. This will make the tail of your dolphin ready.
These are few details that are very important while drawing a dolphin. First, under the eye, draw a crease. Now draw a crooked line from the longest fin across the body. This makes your dolphin look more realistic.
