As anime conventions get bigger, they do get more money from ticket sales. Unfortunately this also means that their expenses also go through the roof. The show itself takes up more space. Liability insurance, production insurance, union members to rig lights, staging and electricity.
Unfortunately, we are no longer able to accommodate such requests. You can view our registration policies here: https://www.anime-expo.org/plan/policies/. Upon verification of your orders, we will inform you if the upgrade request has been approved then process the refund back to the card used to make the purchase.
Attendees are permitted to bring in food and beverage for personal consumption only. This means only food and drink that you would be able to consume individually. Food and drink brought in bulk will not be permitted into the convention center. Refillable water bottles will be allowed — in fact, we encourage them!
