Marmalade Boy is a Japanese anime series based on the manga by Wataru Yoshizumi. The series aired from March 13, 1994 to September 3, 1995 with a total of seventy-six episodes. On March 4, 1995, a short film was released and acts as a prequel to the anime.
Marmalade Boy received a Taiwanese 30-episode live-action television series (called Júzǐjiāng Nánhái). The series starred pop star Stella as Miki and F4 member Ken Zhu as Yuu.
While Miki and Yuu make appearances, the new series, set 13 years after the end of the earlier one, focuses on Rikka Matsuura and Saku Koishikawa, Yuu and Miki's respective sister and brother. Marmalade Boy was adapted into a series of Japanese light novels by Yumi Kageyama, with Wataru Yoshizumi acting as illustrator.
In Taiwan, Marmalade Boy was made into a 30-episode live-action television series called 橘子醬男孩 ( pinyin: Júzǐjiāng Nánhái). The series starred pop star Stella as Miki and F4 member Ken Zhu as Yuu; Stella also sang the theme song, "溫室的花 Wēnshì de Huā (Greenhouse Flower)".
Marmalade Boy is an excellent anime and I recommend it for anyone to watch. It's a drama between Miki Koishikawa and Yuu Matsurra. I won't say too much because incase you havn't seen the first volume. I will critique one and two.

Ever since the two children were born, who were also the main protagonists of Marmalade Boy Little, it further complicated the family tree. Hajime and Rikka weren't blood siblings just like how Yuu and Miki weren't related by blood.

Finally, Marmalade Boy Zenkyokushu was published in 2003. Zenkyokushu includes the opening and endings. Another CD titled Chara Oshaberi Time was given to those who bought Marmalade Voice! at the time. Three other CDs, titled Sweet Bitter were paired with the Japanese DVD boxes.
