The Attack on Titan anime series should change its ending and avoid repeating the manga
Manga are comics or graphic novels created in Japan or by creators in the Japanese language, conforming to a style developed in Japan in the late 19th century. They have a long and complex pre-history in earlier Japanese art.
The manga was finished after an eleven-year publication run with the release of its 139th chapter on April 9, 2021. On November 8, 2020, it was announced that the manga would get a full color serialization. Kodansha collected its chapters in thirty-four volumes, released from March 17, 2010 to June 9, 2021.
Therefore, the Attack On Titan Season 4 Episode 16 release date still happened on March 28, 2021 (after midnight in Japan, which is March 29). Such a stopping point lines up with a previous rumor...
The Attack On Titan Season 4 Part 2 release date has been officially confirmed to be scheduled for January, 9 2022 (effectively January 10 at 12:05 AM JST), the Winter 2022 anime season. The final season will reportedly have 12 episodes in total, which means Attack On Titan Episode 87 will be the finale .
Attack on Titan is written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. The series began in the first-ever issue of Kodansha's monthly publication Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine, released on September 9, 2009. The manga was finished after an eleven-year publication run with the release of its 139th chapter on April 9, 2021.
One of the most beloved anime, Attack On Titan is all set to come to an end after its fourth season's second part. The anime debuted about a decade ago and has millions of viewers across the world. As Attack On Titan Season 4 Part 2 premiered earlier this month, fans are eagerly waiting to see how the anime would end.
The final chapter of Attack On Titan manga came out in April 2021. It left fans with a bittersweet ending with which many were also disappointed. Much like the anime, Eren Yeager, in the manga, becomes ruthless in his attempt to free humanity from Titans. He not only turns on Paradis Island's military but also betrays Zeke.
As the end of Attack Of Titan villainizes and kills its lead character, the anime's fans are wondering if the makers will change the ending. While many are speculating the makers will change the end seeing the negative response to the manga's end, no confirmation has been given by the makers.
Attack On Titan has also ignited excitement among fans. Like any other anime, the makers of Attack On Titan also released its ending soundtrack. It features the harsh past of Eren but ends with Eren seeing a beautiful world. Despite the ending soundtrack, it is hard to tell if the ending of the anime will be changed or not.
The manga's final chapter reveals that Mikasa returned to Paradis Island to bury Eren, while what remained of the 104th Cadet Corps spent the years after Eren's death traveling and attempting to change neighboring nations' perspective of Eldians.
It's a shame because the series as political as Attack on Titan could have given Historia far more time to embrace her leadership role and use her power to do something meaningful. Instead, it sidelines her until the very end, a path the anime also seems to be taking (but would be wise not to).
The manga's final chapter reveals that Mikasa returned to Paradis Island to bury Eren, while what remained of the 104th Cadet Corps spent the years after Eren's death traveling and attempting to change neighboring nations' perspective of Eldians.
Historia's character arc isn't the only one with plenty of build-up and little delivery. Season 4 of Attack on Titan introduces Kiyomi Azumabito, the ambassador for the nation of Hizuru and one of Mikasa's relatives. The manga and anime dedicate an entire scene to Kiyomi presenting Mikasa with her family crest and emphasizing the importance of her lineage. However, neither Kiyomi or Mikasa's background play a very large role in the manga's conclusion, leaving fans to wonder why Isayama chose to include this at all.
Attack on Titan 's ending is frustrating (and somewhat realistic) in that Eren's detestable actions and sacrifices don't completely resolve all of Paradis Island's problems. Instead, he manages to keep the war on his people at bay for the time being -- but with the promise that, once the rest of the world has started to recover from his genocide, ...
Unfortunately, while the manga does tie Ymir into its ending, it doesn't dive nearly as deeply into her motives as it should. Whether the anime has her explain herself outright or adds more subtle cues as to what's going through her head, it would be wise to elaborate on Ymir's part in its conclusion.
In addition to giving Mikasa a much-deserved happy ending, the newly added pages to Attack on Titan 's last chapter also present readers with the possibility of a sequel. Given that Attack on Titan is a story about the repetitive cycle of violence and vengeance, this could simply suggest that cycle will begin anew one day in the future.
