You could say that Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
After their dad left and their mother died, two brothers use alchemy to bring their dead mother back. One loses a arm and a leg, the other one loses his whole body whose soul has been trapped by his brother in an armor. Together, they enlist army and seek for the philosopher's stone to hav…
The villains are mostly grey with their own justifications. FMA is similar, but does all the things Naruto does better. It has better story, more compelling characters, darker shades of grey for its villains, and most of all a superior and well thought ending.
The alchemy in Fullmetal Alchemist is based on a real alchemy. What comes first FMA or FMAB? FMA started while the manga was still being made so when it caught up to the manga, it made the rest of the story up. FMAB was produced after the manga finished so it was true to the manga all the way to the end.
This post-apocalyptic, military, supernatural anime focuses on three young protagonists who have devoted their lives to fighting the human-eating Titans and avenging the humankind. Of course, there are personal reasons that drive each of them and make them interesting and relatable.

Overall, it's an incredible series. I'd recommend this to anime fans, and fans of fantasy or sci-fi of any kind (unless you just can't stand Japanese cartoons). FullMetal Alchemist is definitely one of the best television series out there.
Fullmetal Alchemist is, in a way, unique. It is very much a mainstream series, with the appeal of a huge cast of unique characters, action that commonly involves special powers, a fairly straight forward story with some mostly obvious symbolism, and a mix of comedy, action, drama, and even some romance.
In a survey from Oricon in 2009, Fullmetal Alchemist ranked ninth as the manga that fans wanted to be turned into a live-action film. The series is also popular with amateur writers who produce dōjinshi (fan fiction) that borrows characters from the series.
Yes. You don't need to watch Fullmetal Alchemist to watch Brotherhood. Fullmetal Alchemist originally followed the manga, but then branched off and ended differently. Years later, the remake was made, and this one followed the manga to the end.
FMA is similar, but does all the things Naruto does better. It has better story, more compelling characters, darker shades of grey for its villains, and most of all a superior and well thought ending. So I would go with both FMAs over Naruto, as far as anime quality is concerned.

Ten years ago today on February 13, 2010, the critically acclaimed Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood premiered on adult swim on their Saturday night action block. It's one of my all time personal favorite anime's of all time!
It's really an ensemble show - while Luffy is the protagonist, his crew, known as the Straw Hat Pirates, are every bit as important to the journey as he is. The crew takes its time growing and developing, but they're as much fun to watch as any ensemble cast could be.
Coming in at number one among the most popular FMA characters of all time is the Fullmetal Alchemist himself: Edward Elric! Edward is the main protagonist of the series and there is good reason why. Throughout the series Edward powers through trial after trial and comes out on top.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood earned acclaim from critics and audiences, and is considered one of the best anime series of all time.
He is 15-16 years old throughout the whole story. At the end of the manga, he is 18 years old. Edward is truly a remarkable alchemist, especially for his young age. He's just one of the numerous young and gifted protagonists in the shōnen genre.
Just to be clear, there are two Fullmetal Alchemist shows; the first is Fullmetal Alchemist released in 2003, the other is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, released in 2009. The 2003 version portrayed a small portion of its source material, the manga, but then diverges to tell its own story (still worth a watch due to its unique storyline).
Action sequences in the anime were done exceptionally well. A standout is Fuhrer Bradley himself with his incredible speed and viciousness. Only a few episodes into the series, fans were treated with Bradley's exchange with Homunculus Greed.
6 Manga: The Coal Mine Chapter. This is a chapter the original 2003 anime adapted, but Brotherhood took a different route. Chapter three, Volume one, had Protagonist Edward and brother Alphonse journey to a Coal mine town. There they found the miners were working under the corrupt official, Lieutenant Yoki.
The average per page is roughly three to seven images in a manga. But occasionally, if something significant were to happen, for example, a reveal or a huge event, you're treated to those stunning one to two image images of a character/event.
To say greatest ever depend of each opinion but for me it's a good anime because it's follow closely the material (there are few filler and they are quite good) who is already excellent, it's also well animated the action scene are cool to watch , the soundtrack and the voice actor are goods.
No creative work can ever be perfect but the reason why FMA is such a classic title is because how archetypal of a story it is and how m. Continue Reading. It is a damn good anime.
