Black Clover is one of the top anime currently. Many will argue that it is a part of the new Big Three. We all love watching Black Clover due to its engaging plot and storyline. When I first began Black Clover I did not take to it right away. The show is a 2016 anime based on the manga by Yuki Tabata.
Sources say yes, but actually, no Because the first sin of Black Clover is that of Asta being a bad Naruto clone, let’s focus on his characterization. Asta has one mode and it is loud. He is annoying to the point of being grating, and sometimes feels very one-dimensional.
Then, once Tabata had learned what jump was looking for he created Black clover. Seemingly very very unoriginal in its formula approach to the point where many see it as a naruto ripoff for the first 50 ish chapters. So…black clover was Tabatas sellout shonen manga because jump cancelled his truly wonderful manga Hungry Joker.
However, along with the good, there are also many issues with this anime genre. Black Clover is a perfect example of both the highs and lows of shōnen anime. When Black Clover is good, it highlights some of the strongest and most attractive elements that the genre has to offer.

So far, Black Clover takes itself a little less seriously than Naruto and doesn’t thick on the melodrama to the same extent. It’s easy to criticize Asta’s character for being annoying, but people might forget what an annoying brat Naruto was in the first season of his show!

Tabata really has his own distinct style, and Black Clover’s characters won’t be mistaken for ones from any other series. They aren’t as way-out as One Piece or Dragon Ball, mind you. We really enjoy the variety of shapes, sizes, and styles the various wizards come in.
