Why ANIME is betterthan MOST American TV
Facial expressions in anime are also unbeatable. Especially when it comes to smiling, frowning, and so on. And the animation gives the creators more power to do things regular films could only dream of. And even though anime by definition isn’t “realistic” like regular entertainment…
When most people think of anime, they see it as childish, weird, and something only freaks are interested in. But when you and me think of anime? We see anime for what it is.
A good content anime can attract more audiences than a cartoon. Death Note anime became famous worldwide for its thriller content and also received many international awards. There are many animes based on self-worth, inspiration, depression, sci-fiction, and several others. These contents are worth watching.
Not only Japanese people love anime, but also it’s loved globally. An anime is shown in the form of a series filled with emotions, marvelous music, and a great storyline. Incase of cartoons, the shows are usually repeated, or else characters remain the same. Manga is anime’s written version, much better than comics.
4. Anime Action Is Limitless and Unbounded In live-action movies and TV shows, action scenes and supernatural sequences are limited by real-world physics. The safety of actors and crew are of utmost importance, followed by the capabilities of the director and editing team as far as special effects.
Mainly because a lot of shows become horrendously bad despite such a great start (Game of Thrones, Lost, etc.). Anime shows usually have a definitive end and I think that's what makes anime shows superior in general. Both are quite good, these are two different categories and we should better not compare them.
Anime boasts such vibrancy and diversity in its characters. People in anime have dynamic personalities, they're whole people (even when they aren't human); they have dreams and goals, and beyond that, there's just so much variance in what they are.
It helps that anime is generally less expensive to produce than Hollywood films. The lower cost allows studios to experiment more often because the bar for profitability is lower. Beyond cost, anime taps into manga as source material, and manga offers a diverse range of stories to pick from.
The anime genre has revolutionized art to a myriad of styles and techniques in the world of motion picture animation. Anime character boasts an assortment of human and inhuman experiences. Also, they typically have visually distinct features and quite limited animation style for movement representation.
like myself, some people are addicted to anime because it's fun, action-packed, comedic, and entertaining, it's like a show that's so good you can't help but watch another episode, and the characters are cute and different.
Many anime shows have distinctive art styles that incorporate colors in beautiful and vibrant ways. Being exposed to all of these colors regularly can positively impact your mood, or maybe even help you pay attention to the vibrant colors around you in your daily life.
Obviously not. But if you regularly watch anime when you have free time, you most likely have an average to low IQ. Intelligent people are curious and get bored easily, and are always trying to learn new things. Mindlessly watching silly shows is not an interest of intelligent humans.
The Diverse Variety of Stories The wide range of genres in anime is the first reason why it is so popular. Every person enjoys a different story, genre, and style in anime! Romance, comedy, action/adventure, mystery/suspense, and horror are just a few of the many genres explored by anime plots.
Most anime fans become interested in their favorite shows because they like the characters. They want to draw them, act like them, dress up as them, and so on. Their favorite characters are usually young, aesthetically pleasing, and possess desirable traits like confidence, determination, and a positive attitude.
Improves Creativity And Critical Thinking: This form of storytelling can enhance their creativity and students can start exploring their creative side along with excelling in academics. This improves their drawing skills that help them to start exploring the areas of animation and architecture.
According to me manga or light novel is nearly equilvalent to a novel (not a comic. Though may be slightly inferior due to manga- suparnatural fighting which is debatable to be good or bad or light novel- girl majority character).
Some of these movies are not based on the show/ manga like “The girl who leapt through time”, “ Patema Inverted” , “ 5 centimetres per second” , “ The anthem of the heart” are all must watch and completely independent movies not related to Anime shows.
Much to the viewer's delight. TV Shows on the other hand, may or may not be based on a book.
The sheer number of experimental and good films or tv series are more in hollywood due to it's more vast history and resources. And saying that much, anime at present is being better than Hollywood, but it never was, and it is not better than the film industry as a whole.
Anime is short for animation, or Japanese animation to be precise. Before anything else and all the other things that make anime great, visuals is what makes anime so unique and fresh. It’s the first thing you look at. Just like any other piece of entertainment. With the exception that:
Music aired in anime shows, whether it’s the opening song or the music played during an anime, is unique at its core. After all – it’s Japanese music. So it sounds nothing like what you’d hear in the west (or any country) when it comes to regular films and TV.
Using Hinamatsuri as an example, this slice of life teaches you a lot of things. But one of the most important lessons is: the day-to-day struggles of being homeless. Homeless people are overlooked, ignored, belittled, looked down on and treated like they deserve to die.
But you can never compare regular comedy to the comedy seen in anime. Because animation allows you to do things regular shows can’t. Like the stupidly funny faces characters pull. Or the ridiculous effects studios are able to throw in to add context to the humour.
“Real” friendship is rare in the real world. And anime highlights that fact in emotional ways. Friendship is underrated in the real world, but anime shows you why it deserves to be valued and treasured. Having true friends you can actually count on and trust….
And even though anime by definition isn’t “realistic” like regular entertainment…. It still manages to share a form of “realism” despite it being animated. That’s why anime is nothing like cartoons. Because anime is both semi-realistic and relatable, regardless of how it looks. It’s the perfect middle-ground between realistic TV and cartoons.
The best part about why anime is better, the plots are interesting and absorbing. Each scene takes an interesting turn, which keeps you intact. Cartoons do not have much of an exciting plot. They are repetitive.
One lovable factor about Japanese anime is it breaks stereotypes. Female characters are not so girly, and male characters are not that macho. Equal importance is given to both genders.
An anime is shown in the form of a series filled with emotions, marvelous music, and a great storyline. Incase of cartoons, the shows are usually repeated, or else characters remain the same. Manga is anime’s written version, much better than comics. You may have seen many animes are either dubbed or comes with an English subtitle.
And that’s what anime heroes do. Anime heroes give up their own lives to protect the world. Goku is considered to be an anime hero who protects the world with his strength and power. 10. Animation is Better.
Many otakus follow him as an inspirational guide. Anime characters are quite similar to humans due to their change in personality, moods, and daily problems.
Anime has many genres to entertain audiences. Psychological thrillers are excellent among these. There are genres like romance, comedy, a slice of life, horror, drama, and much more. Slice of life genre sticks to the daily lives of anime characters, quite sweet and straightforward.
Just like a Hollywood series have different seasons similar to this, an anime has various seasons. Some series are continuous with 25 episodes per season, or it may vary.
More simple designs means the less time it takes to draw a character. This let animators draw more frames. This is why anime characters tend to stand still when they talk, they only animate the mouth. In western cartoons the characters actually move when they talk.
1 Great Characters. Yeah that is true anime characters are great with different personalities and different looks and they are realistic and relatable. Cartoon characters are mostly weird or cute nothing else they can't be realistic or cool or dangerous. Anime characters make me feel like I'm a part of them too like when they are sad I'm sad ...
The only legitimate anime series that contains toilet humor is Gintama, but other than that, that's just only ONE anime with toilet humor. Plus, it doesn't overuse toilet humor and at least the toilet humor can be funny. While most cartoons such as Sanjay and Craig, Breadwinners, Fanboy & Chum Chum, and Uncle Grandpa have overused toilet humor. Sigh... sure, The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy had a lot of toilet humor as well, but at least it wasn't overused. Now most cartoons that aren't well-written superhero shows don't seem to be like that anymore...
Cartoon ones on the other hand are short, plain, and beginner like. Cartoon intros look like that it has no art or creativity in it. Although some American cartoons do have catchy intros (look at Rick and Morty or even the Simpsons), it's the fact that anime has MORE great intros that makes this reason valid.
But with anime, it's much more real and it chains you to the characters, so if someone dies it's like you're being dragged along with them. 3 Better Story.
Animes are better than American cartoons, even Gravity Falls when you think about Gurren Lagann, the show about a boy the size of Earth, who can control robot bigger than a galaxy and sometimes bigger than the known universe, Gurren Lagann makes all the other animes and Gravity Falls look weak and boring.
Cartoons always portray their antagonists as losers. They try to send the "good guys always win" message, which is not very realistic. However, the antagonists of anime are very dangerous and present a real challenge to the protagonists.
