Both animes have beautiful romances that flourishes over the series. While Boku we Imouto is mainly focused on their love, Yosuga no Sora has many different girls split up into arcs (2-4 episodes per girl); which, one is his sister. Recently, My Sister is Unusual.
This was made after a visual novel, so it's reasonable that every girl gets a story. Still, in this anime, stories are seperated from each other and only in the last arc, some of the elements from other ones come together.
The OST for the anime adaptation, with music composed by Manabu Miwa (Manack) and Bruno Wen-li, consists of both new compositions and newly arranged versions of tracks from the original game. It was released on two CDs, subtitled "Arrange" and "New", accompanying the Japanese Blu-ray Disc release of the anime with volumes 1 and 3 respectively.
Each episode consists of a 22-minute feature segment and a 3-minute omake segment. The main plot of the anime is presented in a multi-arc branching format that independently tells the stories of Kazuha, Akira, Nao, and Sora while sharing certain common episodes. The title of each episode incorporates the names of the characters it concerns.

Anime. Yosuga no Sora was adapted into a 12-episode anime series that started airing on October 4, 2010.
Overall, I found it enjoyable. It's not a must-watch but I'd at least give the first 3 episodes a try, you can decide from then on if you want to keep watching.
In the anime, at least, Haruka and Sora actually drowned. Scenes showing them alive after Haruka loses consciousness underwater are either dying hallucinations or their afterlives. The text message that Kazuha claimed to receive was actually a fake, sent by herself or possibly by Akira.
よすが, よすか yosuga, yosuka. Parts of speech noun (common) (futsuumeishi) something to rely on; aid; clue; way; means. Parts of speech Meaning someone to rely on; relative.
The description of Yosuga no Sora (The Sky of Connection) presents the anime as a prima facie harmless show about a brother and sister moving into the Japanese countryside to get a fresh start on life after being orphaned.
Perhaps more importantly, in both ends Haruka and Sora are together – whether in death (“In solitude where we are least alone”) or abroad somewhere, building a new life. It was a very effective final episode, either way – suspenseful, painful, challenging and thought-provoking.
Yosuga no Sora was adapted into a manga of the same title, written by Takashi Minaze, and serialized since the May issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Comp Ace magazine. The manga is composed of two volumes, and was released from May 26, 2010 to December 15, 2010.
This page lists the 12 total episodes in the anime series. These episodes do not form a single continuous story, but rather, 4 different stories based on different plot branches. Ultimately, how these branches tie together is explained in Haruka's inner monologue by the end.

Its worth mentioning that the constant motif of Sora's dream in which her and Haruka kissed as children is brought to the attention of the viewer In episodes 4-6 Haruka begins a romance with another one of his friends which he knew as a child. she's a traditional shrine maiden and her name is Akira.

both stories come back to a previous step to take place in a different way, in both anime stories the protagonists are more girls in different time spaces, the only obvious difference is that in no Sora Yosuga scenes are pushed to the end of each edge which happens only once (and not so daring) in amagami ss.

Meanwhile, Nami is as determined as ever to catch the eye of her best friend Kana, though the girl continues to have eyes only for her brother, Sora...
Overall I think Amagami ss is more of a romance anime (better) than Yosuga no Sora which is more like a hentai. rabind says... You probably need to watch Amagami SS before Yosuga no Sora, because the different girls=different arcs system is demonstrated better and is easier to understand.
Both are nice romance animes. andrewlee says... Both animes are done in the same way. They are seperated into arcs that focus on an individual girl, although yosuga no sora is a lot more perverted. Yosuga no sora has a lot of adult stuf where as amagami ss is audiance friendly.
Due to their alternative storytelling style and focus on relationships between the male lead and multiple female leads each having the same starting point and branching off in an alternate "reality" as they develop a relationship, both Yosuga no Sora and Amagami SS are very much alike in this regard.

‘Yosuga no Sora’ season 1 premiered on October 4, 2010 and came to an end on December 20, 2010. During this span, it aired a total of 12 episodes with each one of them being 25 minutes long. Apart from this, unlike most other anime shows, this one has no spin-offs, special episodes, OVAs or side-story seasons. The ending of season one lacks a proper conclusion and leaves behind many unanswered questions. Due to this, many viewers were at least expecting a follow-up OVA if not a whole season. But now, almost a decade has gone by since its release and even the possibility of getting an OVA seems very less likely.

He is mentally mature and at the same time, he also has this sweet childishness to him. He is also quite popular in the village as his grandfather was once a well-known doctor there. When it comes to his character, the anime is completely loyal to the game and depicts all his relationships properly.
Sora Kasugano is the twin sister of Haruka Kasugano who, like him, has pale skin, silvery hair, and black eyes. She’s like the spitting image of her brother and has this perfect doll-like appearance. She is much shorter than her brother and even compared to other girls in the series, she appears to be very fragile.
Nao is another main character of the series who treats Haruka like her own younger brother. She is one of the most mature adult-like characters of the anime and has short black hair that she holds back with hairpins on each side. She is a great swimmer and is also very intelligent. She expresses sisterly love towards Haruka but deep inside, she has more intimate feelings for him.
Akira Amatsume. Akira Amatsume is one of the main characters of the series who lives alone in the sacred plot of a shrine. She has an extremely cheerful personality and is often contagious to those who stay with her. She is also very innocent and more or less like an angel.
