Major is a show I would reccomend to anyone who likes sports shounen. Major is a definite must-see for anyone that enjoys sports anime/manga. The plot is pretty much your typical addictive shonen sports anime, but there is some noteworthy drama elements in there as well.

Major 2nd season 2 was an excellent anime and an excellent addition to the Major franchise despite feeling a lot different from the other 7 seasons overall (Major + first season of Major 2nd)....Reviews.Overall7Story7Animation7Sound8Character81 more row
It's so heartwarming and nostalgic to see our favorite characters from Major in their new lives and roles, but even more amazing than that is how completely original this story is! Goro's son is not the ridiculously overpowered MC his dad was, but his story is just as compelling!
Major has everything you want from a baseball story – characters to cheer for, others to hate, consequential drama, a bit of romance, and excellent baseball games.
MAJOR 2nd (Second) is a sports manga series succeeding the previous MAJOR (series), written by Takuya Mitsuda. The anime adaptation aired on NHK Educational TV, where the first season aired on April 2018, the second on April 2020.
Goro HondaMain Characters Goro Honda is the main protagonist of the series. Now renamed as Goro Shigeno after his new mother married his father's best friend. Toshiya Sato is the deuteragonist of the series.
All I have to say is that the first season starts off REALLY strong. Take your time with this anime. It is really easy to get addicted with Major. A person can literally fly through the episodes because of how engaging it is.
Review is to whole Major as you might have guessed. Spoiler free.
Art is very solid and pleasing although the animation does get a little sloppy at certain times. However, it is well done during important parts, especially during games. I won't go so far as to say this is any ground-breaking animation, but it serves its purpose. After all, this is a baseball anime, not something that has flashy explosions.
I started watching Major with the expectation that it would be your stereotypical sports anime. And if you boil it down to its bones, it sort of is. But it's the meat of the story, the actual conflicts and the actual relationships and the actual characters makes this a really entertaining series to watch.
Major is the definition of the word underrated. It is very unfortunate that people often overlook this series simply because it falls under the sports category. It is SO much more than that. I have recommended this anime to people countless times and will continue doing so because not only do I love it, but I believe it has the power to inspire.
I got Death Note recommended by a friend who said that it is a decent entry point into the anime genre.
Pretty much summed up in the title but I find that I really only watch anime of similar genres and I wanna see what anime everyone thinks are worth the watch!
I started Black Clover on a friend's reccomendation and I absolutely hated Asta beacuse he is so damn loud. I watched uptil episode 6 and I dropped because of Asta. I hate these type of anime characters, Zenintsu ruined demon slayer for me and Asta is doing just that. Does Asta remain so childish, loud and annoying or does he mature.
As the title says, underrated masterpieces. Any genre, except ecchi, is welcome.
Where the MC gets a second chance to fix his life, something like that.
Me and my friends love anime. As it should be obvious since I'm on this subreddit. I was over with one particular friend at his mother's house and we decided to watch Ponyo because everyone else was certain his mom would love it. I had the chance to talk to her alone afterwards and she said she didn't really like it or hate.
