Easy Watch Order Guide
Where Can I Watch Food Wars Online?
So let’s look into the changes that were made in the third season and if these changes make the show any better or worse… Food Wars season 3 released on October 4, 2017, and finished airing on December 20, 2017. This season has a total of 12 episodes like most standard anime and each episode is 24 minutes long.
While most platforms have the show, not many actually have season 4. The first two seasons of Food Wars! are both streaming on Hulu and Netflix, but neither service has the fourth season. It appears the only place to find Food Wars! The Fourth Plate episodes online presently is either Crunchyroll or VRV.
Shokugeki no Soma and simulcast season 5. Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma is my favorite anime and I got into it because of Hulu. Seasons one and two (or the first and second plate) are already streaming on Hulu but the third and fourth seasons (plates) aren't.
Season 5 consists of 13 episodes and was released in April 2020, but the series was severely impacted by the coronavirus pandemic – only airing two episodes before being delayed. The fifth and final season of Food Wars has just concluded, so fans on Netflix shouldn't worry, there's plenty of great courses to go.
Currently you are able to watch "Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma - Season 4" streaming on HBO Max or for free with ads on Crunchyroll, VRV.

Screenshots. Ever since he was little, Souma Yukihira's main goals have been to beat his father in a cooking contest and take over the family diner. That's why, when his dad suddenly announces that he's shutting the restaurant down and sending Souma to cooking school, Souma is shocked. However, Tohtsuki Academy is no ordinary cooking school.
Food Wars! is everything both good and bad about Japan at the same time, and it is glorious. Shameless fan service, a silly shounen plot inside a competition anime, various mumbo jumbo about cooking which is sometimes kinda true and at times just wrong but feels right... this show is the Donald Trump of anime.
However, Tohtsuki Academy is no ordinary cooking school. This elite institution is filled with culinary giants like Erina "God Tongue" Nakiri, who does her best to keep a lowly short-order like Souma from even making it inside the door.
The answer to this question is both yes and no. Yes, since it has the generic shonen trope of “Protagonist is OP.” And no, because even though the protagonist is OP, he does have decent character growth, and also, the main concept of the anime is entirely different.
Nope, Food Wars has officially ended. The main source material that is the manga, was completed back in 2019. The Fifth Plate also concludes at the same point that the manga did. But there were some specials released after the end. So, one can hope for those specials to be released in the form of OVA.
Yes, that is doable. But it is not recommended to do so. That’s because the OVAs are released after each season is finished. So the story and timeline are synced with the prior season. Thus, if you watch it all at the end, you might miss a few exciting snippets.
Though I joked that Food Wars is all about Foodgasms, it is an excellent anime to enjoy. The writing, the art style all are captivating. In fact, I learned a lot about cooking after watching this anime.
