Dr. Stone takes place all the way in 5738 AD, though this far-flung future is much more like the primitive past. This occurs after a strange event petrifies all of humanity, allowing nature to retake the planet. Protagonist Senku Ishigami, a young genius, is one of the first in his area to break free from his rocky exterior due to nitric acid.

The anime adaptation of Dr. Stone has been handled by TMS and 8PAN, beginning its run back in 2019. This second season ran for 11 episodes, with an upcoming third season announced when Season 2 came to an end.
A science-focused show with extremely stupid logical & scientific holes everywhere.. Not a good combination. I was initially drawn in to this anime due to the unique plot & setting but also due to the very beautifully drawn backgrounds that had some really spot-on lightning.
just finished the first season. it was good but incomplete. gotta watch the second season to give it a proper rating.
Having successfully reinvented the phone, Senku contacts Taiju and Yuzuriha, setting his plan in motion to win over Tsukasa's allies. But in a kingdom where might makes right, not everyone will be swayed by mere words, and some of the people on Tsukasa's side are not to be trusted - even by Tsukasa himself. Still, with hard work and a whole lot of science, Senku and his friends are determined to win the Stone Wars and defeat the Tsukasa Empire once and for all!
Everything in it is easy-going and becomes almost like a feel-good anime. The second season is called Stone Wars and there is no war in it. The battle was won with zero casualties through SCIENCE! and mind games, rather than brute force, which comes off as anticlimactic, but also somewhat intellectual.
