The anime was not able to continue due to the deteriorating health situation of Kubo Tite Sensei, the Bleach Mangaka was not able to keep up with the serialization of the anime and eventually it ended on episode 366 — which might explain why the fullbring episodes may seem hurried along toward the end.
This arc started airing on October 5, 2004, and the last episode (20) aired on February 22nd, 2005. The Substitute is also known as the “Agent of the Shinigami” arc.
In 2020, via Crunchyroll, "Bleach" was confirmed for a 2021 return during the series' 20th Anniversary Project and Tite Kubo New Work presentation stream. The news was revealed by Tite Kubo himself...
Folks over at Anime News Network, Bleach subreddit and MangaHelpers have confirmed that Bleach will be ending with chapter 686 (Shonen Jump #38). Bleach 686 will be released, or is expected to release on or around the 18th of August.

Kazui is Ichigo and Orihime's son, while Ichika is Rukia and Renji's daughter and based on Kazui 's ability to manifest a Soul Reaper outfit and Zanpakutō, he'll be involved with the Soul Society in the future.
When Mayuri Kurutsuchi first appears, it looked like he was a sociopath who didn't care about his subordinates, especially his lieutenant Nemu. However, their relationship was much more complicated than that. During the final arc, it's revealed that Nemu was part of an experiment performed by Mayuri to see if he can create an artificial being, which means that Nemu is technically his daughter.
From the very beginning, Bleach focused on battles between Soul Reapers and Hollows but following the events of the Thousand-Year Blood War, there has been no fighting whatsoever for over a decade. This is why Ichigo has gone on to take over his family's clinic while Orihime becomes a housewife.
Ichigo thwarted Yhwach's plan when he cut him in half with a Getsuga Tenshō but years later, Yhwach attempted to destroy the future from the past, which proves that Ichigo did not actually defeat him.
8 Rukia 's Journey Came Full Circle. When Rukia first appears, she is an ordinary Soul Reaper who willingly transfers her powers to Ichigo so he can defeat a Hollow, but she ends up being branded as a criminal by her own people.
