This genre-defining anime series is set to receive a live-action adaptation by Netflix, with John Cho assuming the titular role of Spike. A blend of science-fiction, Western, slapstick comedy, and film noir, Cowboy Bebop is set in the future, in which the Earth is rendered inhabitable, spurring the human race to colonize the solar system.
Those who have finished the original two seasons will be delighted to know that the show returned for its first new episodes after 25 years in 2017, though those aren’t available on Hulu.
Unfortunately, this appears to mean traveling to the local Carnevil (yes, that's how it's spelled)/ The meta-yuks keep coming, as Cuphead's ghost (seen when the character dies) even flies out of his body at one point. Cuphead is coming to Netflix on February 18, 2022. This was announced in the first trailer for the show, which you can watch below.

That was fast: Netflix has canceled its ambitious, widely hyped and, ultimately, widely disappointing anime adaptation Cowboy Bebop, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The move comes less than three weeks after the show's Nov. 19 debut on the streaming service.
What Parents Need to Know. Parents need to know that although this anime series is among the best in the genre -- with well-developed characters and an accessible plot -- it's definitely mature and not meant for younger viewers.
When Funimation removed their series for CR at the end of the partnership, those rights from AU were unaffected. What is curious is that you say, "all of a sudden", as Cowboy Bebop for the US & Canada (via Funimation) was removed in November of last year.

Although it's best known for the anime, Cowboy Bebop actually has not one, but two different manga. The first of these is Cowboy Bebop: Shooting Star, which has ten chapters collected within two manga volumes. This manga is a reimagining of the show's events that changes Edward to actually being a male character.
The biggest form of Cowboy Bebop media is of course the original anime TV series, which was initially released in 1998 and produced by Sunrise. A few years later, it would be brought to the West via Adult Swim, where its popularity would see it be rerun for four years afterward.
