it seems like it only censors violence towards humans; all of the violence towards the aged ones (even the one in episode 6 where she literally slices one in half and you watch the 2 sides slowly open up and fall away) is completely uncensored in the censored version.
We don't censor content on our end, but it's possible the content you're watching was already censored when it was provided to us by our content partners. We'll be happy to share your feedback on this with the proper parties.

Blood-C was designed to share only thematic similarities with earlier Blood projects. The series focuses on Saya Kisaragi, an outwardly normal girl who serves as the shrine maiden to a country town; in reality, she is a skilled swordswoman charged by her father to defeat Elder Bairns, monsters who feed on human blood.
It was directed by Junichi Fujisaku and features original character designs by Chizu Hashii. Fifty consecutive episodes were aired spanning four distinct seasons.
Saya Otonashi (音無 小夜, Otonashi Saya) is the main protagonist of the series Blood+. She is the first born of the daughter of the Chiropteran Mummy, a pure blooded Chiropteran queen, the older twin sister of Diva and the lover of Hagi.
Saya's cheerful, clumsy exterior makes her well-liked at school, and she works hard to help out at her father's shrine. However, her sunny disposition hides a secret: she spends her nights wielding a sacred blade against demonic monsters.
In this anime saga, a poor young woman with big dreams accepts the chance of a lifetime: working for the Emperor.
I had never come across the Blood franchise before. Apparently, Blood-C was CLAMP's version of this story (hence the C). I decided to check it out when I heard Watanuki from xxxHolic makes an appearances (more or less). All in all, I really did like this series though. For one, I thought the animation was quite impressive.

Blood-C is an anime, or Japanese animation series, that blends teenage life with the supernatural. The main character, Saya Kisaragi, seems to be a normal girl. Although she has many friends, Saya is often considered to be polite to the point of absurdity. She is also very clumsy. Saya's sweet but frustrating personality often causes problems for her. She can never say no to anyone. In addition, she always seems to be hurrying from place to place. She is often late or flustered.

First a little heads up/warning. I really disliked this anime, so it may turn out in a little rant. I just had finished Blood+ which was a good anime so I thought to try this one out. Unfortunately it had nothing to do with Blood+ with the exception of the main characters name. The monsters turned from (monster) vampires into statues and birds.
Ok, huuuge letdown so far. No mass murdering bunnies, which is ofc what I came for. It would’ve been fine if the rest was good, but it’s kinda weird. Didn’t finish it yet, though, so it could improve. (Although I don’t expect that at this point anymore)
Everything from Heads flying off to blood-spattered everywhere, definitely something you wouldn't watch with a child. All the Horror fans who love this type of category must watch the following animes :) ( List may be in order )
