PSYCHO-PASS: EXTENDED EDITION While there aren’t any specials for Psycho-Pass, it still has an Extended Edition that aired from July 10, 2014. The series range from 22 Episodes to 11 Episodes with each episode being 45 minutes long and having new footage added as a special for us.
Psycho-Pass Movie. Year 2116—The Japanese government begins to export the Sibyl System unmanned drone robots to troubled countries, and the system spreads throughout the world. A state in the midst of a civil war, SEAUn (the South East Asia Union), brings in the Sibyl System as an experiment.
For those who have never seen Psycho-pass 1, 2 or the movie this is built so you can jump right in if you don't have the time to sit through all the backstory. I will say though, if you do have the time, it's well worth watching the entire series from beginning to end. Either way, Season 3 is a must-see anime.

This is the English dubbed version, not the original Japanese with English subtitles version. The voice acting by the English speaking actors is not done well, and makes the series have a lighter, cheesier feel. It eliminates a lot of the dark, serious, intense atmosphere of the original. Not recommended in the English dubbed version.

When the CID investigates Kimihiko Hayama's disappearance, they not only discover that he's been killed, but someone has taken over his net avatar.
After learning of another murder with the same modus operandi as Kimihiko Hayama's, the CID feels increased pressure to find the killer.
Akane wants to learn more about Kogami's past and why he's an Enforcer, while CID detectives investigate the Hachioji Drone incident.
Ginoza realizes that the recent murders and the Specimen Case are related, and only one piece of evidence exists: a blurry image of Makishima.

While Kogami recuperates from his injuries after the attack by Senguji, Akane decides to undergo a Memory Scoop , a procedure that will extract Makishima’s face from her memories, even though it requires her to relive watching her friend get killed. The CID is called in to investigate the body found under a fountain Holo, and Ginoza decides to take Kogami off the case, due to the murder’s similarity to Kogami’s subordinate’s murder.
Meanwhile, Kogami takes Akane to see a professor who used to give lectures to the MWPSB investigators. S01:E10 - Methuselah's Game. Akane gets an email from her friend Yuki. She says she wants to talk to Akane about an MWPSB case in person and specifies a time and a place to meet.
Although Kogami is taken off the current murder case, he continues to investigate the case on his own. When he and Akane realize that the killer is within Oso Academy, the school the victims went to, they rush to school to capture the killer. S01:E09 - Paradise Fruit.
