Was My Dress-up Darling Cancelled? Some fans could believe the series got canceled due to a possible lack of popularity and how it ended after only 12 episodes, with no episode 13 this April 2, 2022. In the added scene, Kitagawa called Gojo because she was scared while watching Horror movie. They talked till midnight and when Gojo was falling asleep Kitagawa confessed to him saying 'I Love You'. Kitagawa was not heavily blushing, just politely did confesses her love to Gojo.
Marin decides to tell Gojo that she loves her in the midst of the touching moment. Yes!
By chapter 62, Gojo finally realizes that his feelings for Marin are the same as his feelings for the hina dolls, clearly hinting that he loves her too. However, the manga did not say if the two eventually got together. This is understandable as the manga is still ongoing.
Wakana Gojo is a high school student who dreams of becoming a kashirashi for hina dolls one day. Because his life is all about making hina dolls, he has a hard time fitting into his class because his interests are so different than anyone else’s. His classmate, Marin Kitagawa, is always at the center of attention and from another world.

Marin and Wakana start to grow closer as he helps her create her cosplay. Though he's happy about the fact that Marin treats him the same way at school as anywhere else, he also starts to worry about the fact that other people think it's weird that they're hanging out.
Wakana felt relieved just for a moment after they got all of the materials they needed for Marin's cosplay, but then he's shocked to find out that he needs to finish the cosplay in two weeks. On top of that, his grandfather, Kaoru, hurts his back, so Wakana has to run the shop and he also has midterms.
Wakana finally completes the Shizuku cosplay. Marin is super excited that she gets to dress as her beloved Shizuku-tan and suggests that the two of them go to a cosplay event the next day. Even though it's her first time at a cosplay event, Marin gets requests for photos left and right.
Marin and Wakana have a successful first cosplay event. Because of something Wakana said, Marin's mental and emotional state starts to change a little. Even though she was just spending time at the Gojos' home with Wakana and Kaoru to wash her outfit, she can't seem to calm down.
Aspiring doll maker Wakana doesn't have any friends at his high school. One day, popular girl Marin finds him working on a doll in the sewing room.
Marin and Wakana decide to meet up after the weekend to take her measurements for her costume. Too excited to wait, she shows up at his house.
Marin doesn't treat Wakana any differently at school, which makes him worry about what others may think. Later, she takes him shopping for materials.
With just two weeks until Marin's cosplay event, Wakana tries to find time to finish her costume between running the shop and studying for midterms.
Thrilled with her costume, an excited Marin invites Wakana to a cosplay event. After she poses for some photographers, the heat starts to get to her.
After returning from her first cosplay event, Marin begins to see Wakana in a new light. Later, a mysterious visitor comes to the doll shop.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that. I thought it looked like a fictional anime classic, like this show's Cardcaptor Sakura.
