The source story material for Beastars is more than adequate for another season. In fact, it’s enough even for a fourth one. Paru Itagaki’s manga, which the anime series has been adapted from, has been completed. Its final volume was released back in October of 2020 and the entire manga has a total of 22 volumes.

Besides, Beastars is a story-intensive series and any filler content that the studio produces as an original movie might degrade the experience. However, if they intend to go the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train route and produce a canon film, that’ll be exciting.
I haven't written a review in ages, but found the motivation to do so only because I kept scrolling down to find a review I agreed with, but couldn't: it was just one extremely positive review after the other. So here are my two cents. Beastars isn't a bad anime. It's just nothing special.
I honestly don't know what to think about Beastars. I kind of agree with lots of what ShinrabanshouGr posted above. Its nothing compared to most of the ones he listed in relation to a romance / drama show. They just hands down crush it. Not that i didn't like the Haru x Legoshi relationship it was great, it just felt really light in general.
