Yes, unfortunately, Kurama is dead. His whole chakra was used when Naruto entered Baryon mode. They could have both died of the overwhelming power that is gained when Naruto enters Baryon mode, because for that power to obtain, users life is used , but Kurama sacrificed himself for Naruto. Naruto is still alive, though weakened.
Well, the answer is, fortunately, NO! Up until the latest manga, there has been no confirmation of Naruto’s death. Yes, Naruto has been going through life and death situations in Boruto, but there simply has been no confirmation of his death in the official manga.
So as per the latest episode, Mitsuki is still more powerful than Boruto & Sarada. But Boruto may be more powerful than Mitsuki & Sarada in future when he masters Jougan, Karma seal, Rasengan, Sword Style. Watch the video here to see the Super High Compression Rasengan and Mitsuki Chakra.
So to answer in short; Kawaki won’t kill Naruto, who has been like a father figure to him. Instead, overpowered by the karma seal, Kawaki may seal Naruto away in some other dimension, cutting him off from the rest of the world.
In Boruto Episode 218, despite Naruto's heroic efforts against Isshiki, the series takes a major casualty by killing off its most powerful hero.
Despite Naruto's protests, Boruto and Kawaki agree to end things. Boruto lets his brother impale him through the chest and kill him, much to his father's horror. All of this just makes Naruto's life so much more tragic than it already was. Death has hung around Naruto like a specter, claiming many people close to him.
Despite the suspense that prevails throughout Naruto Shippuden, Naruto does not die because he is the story's protagonist. However, he is no longer the main character; instead, Boruto is. As a result, Naruto's survival is no longer guaranteed by the plot armor.
Which Is An Important Milestone For The Series & For Boruto!
Naruto was the one insisting the fight, because he knows Isshiki wouldn't do unnecessary fight. In short, this time Isshiki wasn't the one finding a fight but Naruto, and the anime didn't make it clear. pic.twitter.com/okNc0H0ws2
The chakra unlink causes the prosthetic arm attached to Kawaki to fall on the ground. This event makes the main protagonist and his friends think that Hokage might be dead. The Hokage might not be dead, but with no one able to sense his chakra, the Rinnegan teleportation would not be possible for Sasuke to bring back reinforcement. Isshiki Ōtsutsuki also lets Naruto know what he might do to Boruto, which leaves Naruto even more helpless.
Naruto is one of the most famous manga and anime series written by Masashi Kishimoto, which has been further adopted into the sequel anime Boruto: Naruto’s Next Generation. While the response to the sequel has been incredible but at the same time, the recent episodes of the famous manga, as well as the anime, have raised questions about the fate of Naruto in the sequel Boruto: Naruto’s Next Generation.
As far as the story itself is concerned, Naruto is the one symbol of brightness, of light. He is the beacon of hope that brought even enemies together. He is the person that soared past all of his hurdles to become greatness incarnate and bring to others the best outcome they could’ve had. He’s the hero that didn’t abandon anyone. Even if his death is used for Boruto’s development or whatever, I don’t see what kind of positive aspects Naruto’s death could have within the story and for the characters.
Kawaki during the fight says and I quote, “I’ll be sending you to meet the 7th..”
Most likely no. I mean, Naruto and Sasuke are gods at this point. The Boruto manga is not canon, so do you really think they'd use that awful excuse for a manga as a replacement for the Boruto movie? Probably not. As for Hinata, she is not inferior but still pretty useless in terms of combat.
Naruto and Sasuke both possess power beyond the reach of any alive ninja. They cannot be defeated or killed that easily mind you.
