The suspense is definitely there with how the girls are suspiciously dodging questions about there being any sort of crime in Hinamizawa. And the ending...good god.#N#The voice acting is fine. Art style...still don't completely love it because it still looks too slick and polished rather than being more "gritty" like the original anime's animation. But at the same time, it does established the sinister underbelly with the first scene being bloodier than in the original anime's first episode. And the original opening theme is present here. I was convinced that they would use a new opening theme, but I am really glad they used it here. It even sounds like a remastered take on it.
