The convention was changed to an online only event for 2021, due to the Atlantic City Convention Center being used as a large scale COVID-19 vaccination center. AnimeNEXT 2022 was cancelled due to problems with the Atlantic City Convention Center.
Attendees age 13 years old and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, age 18 or older, for the duration of their time at the event. Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult if required to pick up their badge in Will Call at the Registration Booth.
