The Boruto fan community seems to share a similar sentiment on when the show begins to get good, with most suggesting that from the Chunin Exam arc onward, it only improves. If you had to select a single episode to begin watching from, episode 50 is likely the best place to hop in, as it's all uphill from there.
Whether or not Boruto surpasses Naruto is merely a question of time, as it is inevitable. Naruto lost Kurama which makes him significantly weaker than he used to be. That being said, he is definitely one of the strongest Shinobis in the village despite losing Kurama. Boruto has proved his strength multiple times.
1 Naruto (32) In Boruto, it's known that it's been 15 years since the Ninja War, which had Naruto at about 17 years old. Since then, Naruto managed to get married, become the Hokage, and have not one but two different children. Because of that, Naruto is currently around 32 years old.

In chapter 53, Boruto's Jougan activates as Momoshiki takes full control for the first time. The Jougan seemingly flares up over Momoshiki's presence. The eye signifies Boruto's connection with the Otsutsuki clan and his inevitable demise as a vessel.
It seems unlikely that Boruto will turn into a villain, at least by his own accord. However, the presence of the karma seal indicates that there is a possibility that Momoshiki Otsutsuki has possessed Boruto to go on a rampage that devastates the shinobi world.

Opening 10 begins with a Konoha headband lying on the ground, almost protectively encircling a sapling, transitioning into sunlight breaking through an overcast sky over Konoha, and finally settling over the new generation of Konoha shinobi, as they start watching towards the light.
The opening has a few interesting implications, beginning with the sapling and the headband. The young Leaf shinobi, protected by the Konoha headband, seems indicative of Kawaki finally finding a home and beginning his journey as a Leaf village shinobi.
The entire Himawari segment seems to be anime canon, but this arc holds the promise of launching into the next major manga arc towards its end.
Boruto is a brat because he's a spoiled brat and that's really it. He has no other reason for hating his dad or anything, he's just spoiled, and when Naruto has to take care of thousands of people, and paying for him and his family, Boruto blames him. 2)His skill set is stupid.
