The first half of Attack on Titan season 4 had 16 episodes, but the end is near. A recent report (H/T ComicBook.com ), has the second half clocking in at 12 episodes. Five have already aired as of writing, which means only seven could be left – though that’s not been officially confirmed and likely won't until much nearer the finale.
Like the title suggests, the first episode of Season 4 focuses on the war between Marley and the Mid-East Allied forces that is happening on the other side of the ocean. The Marley forces have laid siege to Fort Slava, which is the last standing point of the Allied forces.
There isn’t any season 5 of Attack on Titan. Season 4 is the last one. Part 2 of season 4 will be coming out sometime soon, and then that’s it. The anime’s done.

A 25-episode first season was broadcast from April to September 2013, followed by a 12-episode second season broadcast from April to June 2017. A 22-episode third season was broadcast in two parts, with the first 12 episodes airing from July to October 2018 and the last 10 episodes airing from April to July 2019.
When the final episode of the third season aired on July 1, 2019, it was announced that the fourth season of the anime series, titled Attack on Titan: The Final Season, was scheduled to air on NHK General during the fall 2020 anime season. The Final Season premiered on December 7, 2020.
Attack on Titan will come to its conclusion when Final Season Part 3 (or Final Arc) airs in 2023, the anime's official Japanese Twitter revealed Sunday. The news came as the last episode of the Final Season Part 2 aired on Japanese TV and hit streaming services Crunchyroll and Funimation.
