My Hero Academia owes a lot of its success to Deku – one of the most creative and unique main characters in Shonen history. Not every protagonist is made equal.
Do you base him on anyone in your life?" and Horikoshi responded that the character isn't from his life at all, and instead is inspired by fiction. Horikoshi stated, "No, not anyone in real life. I based him on Goku in Dragon Ball." The inspiration might be surprising, but it also makes a ton of sense.
Mha is NOT childish, as a fan of mha who's also watched all of Naruto, I can say this honestly. Naruto is a very good anime yes, but so is Mha. Yes its similar, but it is not a 'rip off.
Izuku Midoriya or Deku is presently sixteen years old. He used to be born on July 15, and his Zodiac signal is Cancer.
Bleach is (for now) completed so if you've got the time binge it all. Fillers are meh so try a bit of them and if you don't like it then skip ahead. MHA on the otherhand is not complete but only at season 3 so you could easily and much more quickly finish all current episodes of it then move onto Bleach.

My Hero Academia's manga and anime are broken into sagas and story arcs. The following are the saga and arc names, a description of the arc's plot, and the chapters and episodes they comprise. Note: Most sagas and story arcs are fan-made or community-made names to better organize the series. They are not official names.
One of the many things that fans like about My Hero Academia is the underdog story. Deku is weak and quirkless but is determined to be a hero no matter what. He does end up getting a quirk eventually, although in a very unusual manner. Well, in Black Clover you have Asta, a person with no magical abilities but desires to be the Wizard King. Asta, like Deku, is later granted some magnificent powers that enable him to take on the hardest of challenges to make his dream come true.
The oldest anime show on the list, Yu Yu Hakusho was written by the same author as Hunter X Hunter. Although its fight scenes are more similar to Dragon Ball since they come from the same era, Yu Yu Hakusho still has similarities with My Hero Academia. The protagonist, Yusuke, is a middle school student who is revived by the Spirit World after dying in a car accident in exchange for becoming the Spirit Detective. He constantly battles evil forces to save the world and is often accompanied by his classmate Kuwabara and two demons whom he ends up befriending after one of his missions.

One of the classic "Big Three" of Shonen (along with One Piece and Bleach ), Naruto is the story of an ostracized boy named Naruto Uzumaki. He recently graduated ninja school, and his big dream is to become his village chief (Hokage) and become a great ninja everyone can adore and look up to. He starts from nothing and works his way up, and that story will sound familiar to fans of My Hero Academia.
This creature, later named Kuro-sensei, becomes their homeroom teacher and helps them improve their grades while teaching them how to assassinate him. It sounds weird, but you have to give it a try. It’s hilarious, teaches life lessons, and really tugs at your heartstrings sometimes.
Unlike Deku who wants to get stronger, however, Tsuna isn ’t interested in getting stronger, doesn’t like fighting, and absolutely doesn’t want to become what his mentor wants him to be, that being a mafia boss. Although the plots heavily differ, both shows have likable characters, great fight scenes, and great humor.
The characters in this show aren’t superheroes— they’re normal middle school students who are struggling not to fail in school. However, they’ve been tasked with assassinating a yellow octopus-like creature who swears to destroy the earth in one year.
Before we can answer “what year does my hero academia takes place in”, we have to know which century the anime takes place in.
Nearly all the characters have advance smartphones, the UA school can make giant mechanical robots, and technology can understand something as complex as quirks.
Since we have deduced that My Hero Academia takes place shortly into the future, and Mydoria is the ninth successor of “one for all”, so it becomes clear that quirks start appearing in 1900.
Well if I’m being honest My Hero Academia could be taking place anywhere from 2020 to 2099, but if someone asked me the question and forced me to make my bet on an answer, I’d say somewhere around 2030.
Ever since its manga release in 2015, My Hero Academia has introduced us to a vibrant cast of characters. From the kids to the Pro Heroes, Hirokoshi's characters come in a variety of shapes and forms with which fans empathize and relate. Fun, energetic, and full of contagious enthusiasm, this red-haired hero provides much for ESFP's to relate to. The rock-hard hero's flashy red hair dye is characteristic of an ESFP's concerns with self-image and how others may view them.
Ojiro's modesty and dignity are portrayed as key attributes of his character which can be seen in ISFP's. Such people are guided by a strong sense of morality and desire to do what is right; all of which can be seen in Ojiro's withdrawal from the sports tournament when he felt that he didn't earn his spot. Perhaps martial arts training is the only thing standing in the way of future ISFP heroes.
While jovial and humorous, Mirio still maintains a strict moral code. His hero name "Lemillion" is a testament to his dedication and goal to save a million people all with a big smile on his face; all of which brings out the best characteristics of an ESFJ.
While Tamaki may seem rather shy and gloomy at times, it is common for INFP's to come across as aloof and sensitive to others. He may be quick to point out flaws in himself but as one of the top 3 at UA Tamaki shouldn't be underestimated.
Batool Makki is a writer hailing from a long line of admirers for both western and eastern comic media. With a tendency to become hyper-focused on any new material to catch her attention, her obsession with popular manga and anime leaves nothing left unanalyzed in the products.
There's no one more representative of such a dynamic personality than the explosive Bakugo. As can be seen in many of his fights, Bakugo is a skilled improviser, and he is not one to shy away from risks or danger.
