A cool anime quote tees are always worth investing in. Not only you can wear them to the anime festival, but they are also subtle enough to wear in daily life. While only half of the crowd in the anime convention will do the cosplay, but most of the people will at least wear an anime-related shirt.
A badge is the first thing you’ll need to get in order to attend Anime Expo. There are a few different types of badges: 4-Day: Best value! Ages 14-17: Anyone 14 and older must purchase a 4-day or 1-day general attendee badge. Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to pick up their badge. We recommend attendees ages 14-17 have a parent or guardian close by for the duration of the event.

COSPLAY IS AN ALL-AGES EVENT. There will have one competition for children 13 and under and then a contest for anyone else entered. The Cosplay choice should be considered a PG-13 rated event at the most.

If you are not cosplaying, you should make sure you are wearing comfortable clothes and walking shoes, as you will likely be on your feet most of the day. The convention may be hot once you are inside the venue, so you may want to dress in layers to stay comfortable.

If you’re 13 and under , the adult present when you pick up your badge must also have purchased a badge and accompany you throughout the duration of the event. IMPORTANT: With the exception of Child badges, each registered attendee must pick up his/her own badge. Head to the appropriate badge pick-up area.

Before you apply for the disabled credential and a disabled credential for your helper, you must first make sure that you (the attendee) and helper have registered and paid for a badge on the Anime Expo website. You and the helper can also purchase a badge at Registration if you are on site.
Japan is home to some of the most cutting-edge fashion trends in the world, and each year, Anime Expo takes pride in its efforts to showcase and introduce a variety of Japanese fashion each year.
Must be 18 years or older to apply. Must be available to attend all necessary training, fittings, rehearsal, prep, as well as the session itself. (Approximately 2-4 hours pre-con plus day before and day of the fashion show) Must be able to provide your own shoes, food, snacks, and drinks.

Since the first Fashion Show in 2012, AX has featured over ten different authentic Japanese clothing brands, as well as a new generation of models. Workshops are hands-on, interactive sessions that provide an opportunity to learn new skills, such as sewing, origami, dancing, and drawing.

If you are planning to attend a Ticketed Event at Anime Expo, please be sure to read all relevant event policies regarding pick-up, will- call, and other procedures. Please be aware that policies may vary between events, especially when they take place in different venues.
These are called, “Ticketed Events.” Ticketed Events include, but may not be limited to Masquerade, Concerts, and A MV Competition.
These wristbands are optional; though we do highly recommend them as a safety precaution. Ages 6-13: Child badges have the same access as a 4-day badge. Attendees age 13 years old and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 for the duration of their time at the event.
