Origin

The second opening movie featuring this song started after the 26th episode in the animation series aired in 2007, and it featured high peaced and psychedelic scenes from the anime to keep up with the song, witch many fans found misplaced and unfitting to the rest of the series.

Spread

2007 was a year of progress for MAD /parody videos because NND was launched and video sharing services spreaded rapidly to the people, and many anime/manga were reused as a resource for them. "What's up people?!" parody video was just one of them.
