Plunderer. TV-14 | 24min | Animation, Action, Fantasy | TV Series (2020– ) Episode Guide. 24 episodes. In a post-apocalyptic world, each citizen has their identity branded with their own "Count," which defines their livelihood. But a mysterious figure has an agenda to steal away these Counts.
Anyway, plenty of people will tell you that Plunderer is an objectively bad series. I can guarantee you that those same people would think that their favorite generic entry-level shounen or “mature and deep” drama rated 8.50+ on MAL aren't unwatchable trash - and they'll be wrong in both cases.

Yes it is worth watching. The main character is OP also and the whole series in so exciting.
Cause he's a plunderer, yeah a plunderer! This show was a train-wreck from beginning to end. It started of as a typical generic ecchi show but went on to pretentiously try and disguise itself as more than just a self-insert power fantasy.

When her mother gets dragged into the abyss, as per her mother’s final wish, she sets off in search of the Legendary Ace.
The anime is set in the post-apocalyptic world of Alcia. The citizens of this realm have their worth measured in numbers based on various factors such as distance traveled or likability, that are imprinted on their bodies.
Jail Murdoch is one of the secondary main characters in Plunderer and the squad leader with the rank of Lieutenant in the Althea Royal Guard. His character is detail-oriented, making him an excellent soldier and a capable combatant. He is a man of conviction which is the driving force of his character development.
Plunderer has an intriguing concept with the introduction of a dystopian world and where your life is measured by numbers in a quite literal way. The artwork, however, is rather bland with backgrounds that severely lack details which results in a boring representation of what should have been a next-level looking show.
Licht:The character development here is just astonishing. We see clearly how this optimistic, kind hearted ,pervert turns into a killing machine with an actual reason for killing. What he had to do was obviously against his morals, but he felt that he had to break them in order to keep his friends safe.
STORY: The story is surprisingly complex with some depressing twist, and prepare yourself for Licht's and Nana's backstory. The story also sheds light on a major real world problem: Overpopulation. This leads to hunger, poverty, and eventually war, which is where Licht and Nana comes in.
Post-300 years Licht does not differ much from himself before the war, other than his long white hair and taller height. His eyes are crimson and his skin is fair, though his looks are not uncommon among others. He had dark blue eyes and black hair before he became a Baron.
He is enigmatic as far as intentions go. He does his best to conceal that he is a Baron, but his overwhelming power and inability to allow others to suffer causes him to reveal himself often.
In the last episode of Plunderer anime, after Licht was absorbed into the black hole created by Taketora, seven Baron's masks was shown to be floating in the "world of darkness" and surrounding Licht.
Licht has two separated counts: the ‘first count’ is on his left hand, which reads "-999". This count is the ‘first count’ since it is the “first one seen”. This count is obtained after the Abandonment War ended.
Licht's character design (Especially his appearance and personality in 300 years ago) is most likely based on Sakurai Tomoki from Minazuki Suu 's previous works, Sora no Otoshimono.
It's not known how the Ballot was created, although it's said to have been created by either someone with supernatural power or an alien during the Nuclear War.
Ballots can be used for approval of a new law, which is known as " Althing " ( 議会 アルシング , Arushingu, lit. "Parliament"). Althing can also grant one wish once a person has collected all seven Ballots. A bizarre side effect of this results in people who've received the majority votes from Althing will stop aging.
Althing is a Scandinavian term. "Al" means "all" while "thing" means "parliament".
