There's no rush to catch up to the anime, waiting a week for more progress is lame. No one piece is not good. It’s just one the most popular anime of all time. It’s just 9/10 on MAL and has 900 plus episodes and multiple movies because it’s such a terrible anime.

Rating of “One piece” is PG-13 - Teens 13 or older. Your daughter is 11 years old, thus “One piece” is inappropriate for her.

One Piece is a show that contains action, and some cursing. It should not be taken as the devil's work. Just let your child enjoy life instead of guarding them from the real world. Your kid will see breasts, your kid will see violence, your kid will hear swearing.
The conclusion. In conclusion, One Piece takes the lead over Naruto overall. Both series have strong and weak points, but their popularity is evidence that fans love them for their specific quirks. Nor is it true that there aren't any in the anime community who doesn't love both series.
Well, not really. The art style of Oda-sensei may look childish, but the plot itself and the characters are not really tailored towards children. Some parts of the story are extremely depressing and messed up, because Oda-sensei put into One Piece plenty of the negative sides of our real life society.
Not really. We have Wano arc going on in 2019. Rather than boring I think it is becoming really interesting. Every chapter from 929 to 945 released in 2019 is packed with shocking developments along with a bunch of hilarious as well as emotional moments.
What parents need to know. Parents need to know that One Piece , while cartoonish in its animation and humor, has many very serious and dramatic moments. As pirates, the Straw Hat crew are willing to put their lives on the line in order to achieve their goals.
The Funimation dub includes more mature language (including "s--t" and "bastard"), and some of the fight sequences include large amounts of blood (especially during the sword fights). There can also be a bit of sexual humor, but it's very mild. Continue reading. Show less.
Much like its Japanese counterpart, some swearing – including "s--t," "damn," and "bastard" -- is used in the Funimation dub. Consumerism. Drinking, Drugs & Smoking. During some of their lighter moments, some characters are shown drinking alcohol to the point of intoxication, but they don't do anything too outrageous.
Even though One Piece is animated and has very cartoon-like humor, it's a very well-rounded adventure show with as many serious bits as funny ones. While to some that might be a turn off, it does make the crew's journey and struggles all the more realistic.

Zoro is the better written character while sasuke is just a ripped of mix up of Kurapika and Killua from HxH. Overall Characters/Development:- One Piece wins 7/10 here, the characters are not too good written but compared to Naruto’s characters where everyone are basically behind power,OP characters are better.
No, it is not overrated, it has the success it deserves, and Most people who like that genre of anime will like One Piece. For 1, it has a huge universe, secondly, the main characters are not made to be invincible, if they meet to wrong enemy at the wrong time they could die, the diversity in powers and skills.
Basically anime and manga in Japan aren’t marketed on genre (like romance, sci-fi, fantasy, etc) as they are on audience, and the type that One Piece is, is the same as Dragon Ball, Naruto, and Hunter x Hunter, which is basically “young boy’s anime.”.
That said, the roster of over 35 playable characters is more than capable of picking up the slack. The 2015 game is also quite visually appealing, especially on the PS4.
Along with being the most popular One Piece game, Treasure Cruise also holds the distinction of being the best. As a free-to-play collect-them-all mobile game, Treasure Cruise 's mere existence is likely to turn off some fans, an understandable reaction considering the market's predatory nature.
For those looking to revisit the early chapters of One Piece, the original Pirate Warriors does a far better job than any of its sequels.
For the most part, One Piece has proven a great fit for the Dynasty Warriors formula. Pirate Warriors 2 eliminates the finicky platforming elements from the series' original entry, opting to just focus on the simplistic but entertaining combat. A brand new storyline is certainly enticing, but Pirate Warriors 2 's expansive roster steals the show.
Grand Battle laid a solid foundation, but the overall game fell short in the "adventure" department, which is a pretty big deal in One Piece. Fittingly enough, Grand Adventure transfers its predecessor's fun battle mechanics while finetuning every other aspect of the package.
A turn-based RPG that goes through the manga's story arcs up until the timeskip, Romance Dawn features a decent combat system that could have served as the basis for a respectable romp through Oda's world. Unfortunately, the RPG is let down by its level design and pacing.
The Pirate Warriors series has gone from strength to strength, with the third entry being comfortable the best of the bunch. In fact, Pirate Warriors 3 ranks alongside Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors as the greatest musou spin-off games.
