It’s a Shonen Manga, to be precise. Nevertheless, it is no secret that Shonen anime programs have a more extensive fan base due to the action and intense sequences they contain.
I can say Charlotte is most likely a 3 (out of 5) star anime, if not a 2. However, of course, to find out, I’d have to watch it again.
This show is fantastic! If you think Anime and Vampires don’t mix, think again. With a fascinating adventure (and some reasonably decent narrative twists along the way), you’ll be hooked from the beginning. You’ll appreciate this if you like dystopian settings, exciting combat, and exciting characters.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is a 2018 anime series based on Fuse’s light novel series. The story involves a man who is killed and resurrected as a slime named Rimuru in another universe.
Starting this movie in 2015, 15 years after the massive disaster that killed half of the world’s population, a new danger has arisen. Mystery intruders known as “Angels” have begun attacking humanity.
High School DxD is an intriguing movie; the school is a private high school located in Dallas, Texas Ichiei Ishibumi wrote, and Miyama-Zero illustrated the DXD light book series in Japan. After being killed on his first date, Issei Hyoudou is resurrected as a Devil by Rias Gremory.
It's a series that is a gateway for people who want to seriously watch anime. Receiving a book that ends the life of anyone whose name is written in it, Light Yagami uses the Death Note along with his Shinigami Ryuk to become a new god, while trying to outsmart L (a teen detective, because anime) at the same time. The fact that this anime has a stellar English dub is just icing on the cake because Death Note is a fantastic piece of media.
Gintama fits into a lot of different genres, including adventure, shonen, comedy, science fiction, and mystery. But, primarily, the focus is on either the action or the gags. As far as the plot goes, it’s about as wacky as they come, set in an alternate version of Edo Japan where aliens came and took over.
One of the only series to hold to run longer than One Piece and one of the flagship examples of how incredible sports anime can be, next up is Hajime No Ippo. Following the entire career of Makunouchi Ippo, from a pacifistic kid who was bullied to a name known worldwide, Hajime No Ippo is a top-tier sports series. And, thanks to three incredible seasons that spanned more than a decade, the anime adaptation is on par with the source material in terms of quality. There’s a lot to watch, and the anime hasn’t adapted all of it (yet), but if you have even a passing interest in boxing, Hajime No Ippo is a perfect show for you.
It’s self-referential, fourth-wall-breaking, childish, satirical, and downright hilarious. Truly , Gintama is the perfect series for those looking for a comedy show that never seems to end.
The original Fullmetal Alchemist (also animated by Studio Bones) is an excellent series that had to divert from the source material after catching up a bit too quickly. But, nothing beats Brotherhood. I mean, it’s held the #1 spot on MyAnimeList for years now, so it assuredly has quite the reputation. The story of Edward and Alphonse Elric, two genius brothers, and their journey to get back what they lost, is such a good story. Plus, the Alchemy system in the series is so incredibly deep and properly fleshed out, meaning that the world these brothers live in is just as believable as they are as characters. Brotherhood differs from the 2003 series in a few ways, most obviously the art style, but its dedication to the source material and the stellar animation work overall easily means FMA: Brotherhood has earned a spot on this list.
There’s a lot to watch, and the anime hasn’t adapted all of it (yet), but if you have even a passing interest in boxing, Hajime No Ippo is a perfect show for you.

YouTube. As one of the best action anime in recent years, Attack on Titan (進撃の巨人) should be listed. It was originally released as a manga in 2009, and the first season of the anime adaption was aired in 2013. In the story, humanity stands on the edge of extinction for being attacked by the titans.
67 Best Anime Of All Time (In No Ranking Order): 1. Monster. Monster does one thing well: express the “inner monster ” within all of us. All it takes is the wrong set of circumstances to trigger someone on a dark path. Awakening an evil we never thought ourselves capable of. Few anime are this realistic. 2.
Black Lagoon. Like Jormungand, Black Lagoon is one of the grittiest anime on the planet. Each character has a troubled past associated with rape, sexual abuse, drugs, crime, and everything the underworld represents. Black Lagoon does it best in this department. And the action speaks for itself.
Jormungand. Jormungand is the only anime of its kind to portray the lives of arms dealers. The realism of the story telling, experiences, and the lifestyles led by arms dealers is on point. This anime is a masterpiece for what it does and intended to do. 5.
Yona Of The Dawn is an anime I’ve always wanted to watch. I’m glad I did. Somehow Yona Of The Dawn is an adventure, supernatural series with comedy so fresh (and silly) that it’s surprising. Especially on top of all the action, occasional romance and battle-scenes from time to time.
Soul Eater is so underrated in the Shounen genre. The amount of times this show never pops up in conversation is surprising. Because the anime itself is what I’d call “mainstream” for its success. It’s a prime example of what a “great” Shounen series looks like with a female (and male) protagonist.
