I simply don't understand how Anime Update isn't on this sub's list of sites. Anime Update is Almost ONLY SUB but it's really really good if you watch sub. It's ads are very reasonable (for people who don't have adblockers...?)
Anime Twist is a pretty straightforward and safe anime website. It doesn’t have lots of bells and whistles but a complete list of anime releases and a quick search tool on the homepage.

Funimation has merged with Crunchyroll – and it's changing how you watch anime. The two anime streaming services now fall under the 'Crunchyroll' name. With that comes a new wave of shows on the service, as well as an offer for current Funimation subscribers. There is no change in price, however.
