COSPLAY IS AN ALL-AGES EVENT. There will have one competition for children 13 and under and then a contest for anyone else entered. What is the requirement for anime expo?

Anime Expo Artist Alley requires that all primary and subsidiary artists provide a seller’s permit number in order to complete their registration. Additionally, all artists must keep either a paper or electronic copy of each California Seller’s Permit at their table as according to state policy.

When do you get your Artist Alley badges back?

All refund requests for badges purchased in March 2020 must be received by March 31st, 2020. Badges purchased after March 31st are non-refundable.

How many participants are allowed at Artist Alley?

There are three types of participants that are permitted at Artist Alley that must have an Artist Alley badge. A maximum of (3) participants are allowed per table with a limit of one (1) subsidiary artist per table.

How old do you have to be to go to Artist Alley?

Children 15 years and below are not permitted to participate in Artist Alley. All participants ages 16 and 17 must submit a Parent Consent Form. All artists ages 16 and 17 (minor artists) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the duration of the show.

Is proxy selling allowed in anime?

Proxy selling (i.e. selling the works of a person who is not present and a registered artist in Anime Expo Artist Alley) is strictly prohibited. Collaborative works, such as anthologies, would be an exception to this rule. WEAPONS. Sales of weapons are prohibited in Artist Alley.

Can you get henna tattoos in Artist Alley?

Henna tattoos, face painting, and others work expressing art on a person’s body is prohibited in Artist Alley. ARTIST ALLEY OR EXHIBIT HALL. Artists may only participate in one area. Artists will not be allowed to participate in both Artist.
