I loved Deku in season 1 because he was the underdog. I get that the author wants to switch Deku up and not be the underdog, which is fine. But the author shouldn’t break logic so Deku can nearly catch Bakugou. Then the final straw that made me thought Deku was kind of boring was during the Provisional License Exam.
