After 11 years, the Attack on Titan manga has reached its conclusion. Here's how the final chapter ends the series. By Hannah Collins Published Apr 08, 2021.
After making it inside Eren's Titan mouth thanks to assistance from Levi, Mikasa decapitated Eren's human body and kissed him goodbye for the first and last time. The final chapter confirms that this killed him -- for good this time.
According to him, "the power of the Titans continues to exist because Ymir has been obeying King Fritz for 2,000 years . ".
Once Eren and Armin's conversation is done in the Path, he erases Armin's memory of it, which Armin recovers in Chapter #139 after Eren dies. Eren's death and Ymir's liberation by Mikasa also results in every Titan body turning to dust, and those that had been transformed restored back to human form.
Eren's endgame, all along, was to rid the world of Titans. The first few pages of the final chapter reveal the full conversation on this subject previously had between him and Armin via the Path -- when the Commander was still on the ship headed towards Eren's Wall Titan army. "You did it for the sake of the future you saw using the Attack Titan's power," Armin confirms, clearly referencing Eren's decision to kill 80 percent of humanity with the Rumbling. When Armin asks if he really needed to take things to that extreme, Eren shows him a vision of a volcanic, primordial land. According to him, "the power of the Titans continues to exist because Ymir has been obeying King Fritz for 2,000 years ." Despite the violence the monarch committed against her village, parents and even her own body, shockingly, she truly loved Karl Fritz. It was this bond that kept her bound to him and his family for two millennia.
The chapter ends with the aforementioned three-year time skip, by which point, the day that the Rumbling was stopped has come to be called the 'Battle of Heaven and Earth.' However, though Titans are gone for good, the Islanders remain fearful of what the rest of the world might do in retaliation. The new nation of Eldia establishes its military under the Jeagerist banner. In a letter to Armin, Queen Historia, now the mother of a three-year-old girl, writes, "If we win, we live. If we lose, we die. If you don't fight, we can't win. Fight. Fight. This fight will not end until either Eldia or the world disappears. That is what Eren said, and he may be right. Even so, he chose to leave this world in our hands. This place we now live in. A world without Titans."
Instead, Eren reveals to Armin that that person was, in fact, Mikasa. That's why Ymir smiled at the end of Chapter #138 when Mikasa chose to kill Eren.

ATTACK ON TITAN: More details on the series returning with S4 Pt 2! the Final Season ends in ending in 2022, that would mean Attack on Titan starting from the ch.1 in the manga will have the 13 year life of one of the 9 titans (curse of ymir).
According to reports circulating social media, Attack on Titan season 4 will adapt up until chapter 116 of the manga. The issue is that there are currently 138 published chapters, with the final chapter scheduled to release on April 9th.
If the remaining episodes of Attack on Titan in season 4 part 2 don’t adapt the final chapters of the manga, the only option left is to release an anime movie. Considering the recent box office success of Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, which adapted an entire arc between seasons 1 and 2, this is not out of the realms of possibility.
This especially considering that Demon Slayer is arguably the second most popular anime in the world right now, only behind Attack on Titan. So, if the anime series was to end without covering the full manga series, producing one final movie to wrap up the remaining chapters would be an excellent option from a business standpoint.
