Ram is a secondary character from the Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu series of light novels, anime and manga. She is the twin sister of Rem.
Despite her childlike appearance, Rem isn't a young girl. She's actually a teenager. When fans meet Rem during Re:Zero's first season, she and her twin sister are 17 years old. Despite the powerful Oni species' blood running through her veins, Rem ages normally as time passes through the series.
Rem (レム, Remu) Voiced by (English): Brianna Knickerbocker. Voiced by (Japanese): Inori Minase. One of the twin demons who work at Roswaal's mansion as maids, Rem is Ram's younger sister. She has blue hair which she wears parted on the left, and still has a full horn, which grants her magical power.
Ram is much more powerful according to strength, plus Rem can't control her horn so.... and thats all. Naturally, Ram is stronger as she's the second coming of the Oni God. However, she can't normally access that power, making her weaker.
Rem is one of the most loyal anime characters ever. As talked about in the points above, she is incredibly loyal even if she knows she will never be as important as her friend Emilia. Her loyalty draws many fans towards her and helps make her even more popular.
Darling in the FranxxZero Two (Japanese: ゼロツー, Hepburn: Zero Tsū), also called Code:002 (コード:002, Kōdo:002) and 9'℩ (ナインイオタ, Nain Iota, "Nine Iota") is a fictional character in the Japanese anime television series Darling in the Franxx by A-1 Pictures, Trigger, and CloverWorks.

Ram was formerly considered to be a child prodigy and the second coming of the Oni God even though she only had one horn, however it was cut off by Faust when the Witch Cult attacked her village.

Rem is introduced in the beginning in the Shinigami Realm, watching the humans. Ryuk complains that he is bored, and the two of them mock humanity. Ryuk then drops his Death Note into the human world, which startles Rem. Rem returns at the beginning of Act 2, immediately after Misa picks up a Death Note.
Carrie Manolakos voiced the character for the New York studio demo recordings. Rem performs the following songs in the musical: " They're Only Human " is a song Rem sings with Ryuk about humanity. " Mortals and Fools " aka "A Cruel Dream" is a song Rem sings with Misa when they first meet.
After Gelus gives his life to save Misa, Rem delivers his Death Note to her . From that point on, Rem looks after Misa and attempts to keep her from harm. Rem shares with Misa the secret to killing a Shinigami: have them kill in order to save someone they favor. After meeting Light, Rem becomes aware of his intention to use Misa as a tool, and when Light tells Misa he would kill her if she does not follow his orders, Rem declares to Light that she would kill him if he harms Misa.
Like Ryuk, Rem possesses two Death Notes; however, Rem did not get hers through trickery. The Shinigami Gelus, who had fallen in love with Misa, sacrificed himself to kill her destined murderer. In doing so he was reduced to dust, leaving only his Death Note.
Rem returns at the beginning of Act 2, immediately after Misa picks up a Death Note. Rem explains that Gelus had died saving Misa from the stalker she was running from. Misa asks about Kira because she wants to find him, so Rem explains the trade for the shinigami eyes.
Rem with Takada. Rem in the film is much like her anime and manga counterpart. She is devoted to Misa and attempts to protect her at any cost, including giving her own life. In the second movie, Rem declares her love for Misa and her contempt for Light moments before her death.
Also, while Ryuk is ambivalent to Light 's success or failure, Rem actively assists Misa. This makes her equally as guilty as Ryuk of not displaying 'proper' traits for a Shinigami to have.
Rem is a secondary antagonist in arc 2, a main character in arc 3, and a supporting character throughout the remaining series of light novels, anime and manga of Re:Zero. She is the twin sister of Ram .
Magic Expertise: Just like her sister, Rem is able to channel Mana through her body in order to cast magic spells. She specializes in Water magic. Huma: A defensive water spell that creates a water shield that can easily stop magic projectiles.
A long time ago, there existed a small village in the kingdom of Lugunica inhabited solely by Oni, human-like demons with the ability to grow horns to reach superhuman levels of power. That village was home to many prodigious warriors, but none were as peculiar as a particular set of twins. Ram and Rem were born with a single horn each, unlike all other Oni, which have two horns. The older twin, Ram, was an extremely talented and powerful magic user. Rem, however, was more on the clumsy side, always depending on her sister.
Huma: A defensive water spell that creates a water shield that can easily stop magic projectiles. It can also be used to freeze blood. El Huma: An offensive water spell that can be used as a contact move that instantly freezes the enemy or to summon ice pillars from the ground. Al Huma: Rem's most powerful spell.
Soon after the destruction of their home, the twins were taken in by an influential man known as Roswaal L. Mathers, one of the most powerful mages in Lugunica, and owner of large portions of land.
However, during the fight, one of the cultists sliced Ram's horn off, rendering her much weaker.
Rem's Morning Star can pierce through solid rock. Sliced Subaru's leg off. Casually destroys Mabeasts with her Morning Star. Casually cut down multiple trees. Punched a Mabeast's head off. Rem was able to damage the White Whale with her weaker spells. Rem was able to freeze 22 tons of air vapor in a couple of seconds.
Rem is relatable because of her raw emotions. And the more emotional a character is, the more relatable they are in general. Emotions make you feel something for the character’s story and circumstances. And that’s what helps people connect to Rem so deeply in ReZero. 5.
Innocence. Rem is the younger sister of Ram. Maybe that’s why she’s more “innocent” than Ram in comparison. But not really. Rem isn’t faking it when she appears to be innocent and pure of heart. It’s a natural part of her character. One of the best examples is when Rem starts crying after Subaru cheers her up.
But the difference is: Ram is able to accept her flaws and shortcomings. That’s the biggest difference between Rem and Ram as far as confidence and self-esteem goes. Ram is able to admit her flaws without belittling herself or getting depressed.
1. Maturity. Ram gives off the impression that she’s independent, mature and responsible compared to Rem. And in a way that’s true. Ram’s a little more serious than her little sister. Usually approaching things from a mature point of view, similar to how Saber behaves in Fate Stay Night.
Ram is the older sister-type who’s strong on the outside. The type to hide her emotions on the surface. Rem is different in that way. It might seem like she’s not the type, but Rem is a much more emotional character than Ram. You could say this is why she killed Subaru in secret when no one was watching.
Rem is too emotional for her own good sometimes. She acts almost on instinct and chooses not to think things through. Even if she knows it’s a stupid decision to make. That’s why Rem is more emotional as a character. Ram in comparison is level-headed, logical and calm.
Ram is a proud maid and character. It doesn’t matter that she’s not as powerful as Rem after losing her demon horn. She’s still proud of her accomplishments, actions, and of who she is. That’s not to say she doesn’t have insecurities too (who doesn’t) but it’s clear who’s the more proud character between Rem and Ram.
She was born in the Gad family of Caliture City and as the vessel of Demon Lord Krebskulm's soul, inheriting from her mother. At some point in her life, she left her family, became a Summoner and met Cles of the Mage's Association. Celestine wanted Rem to be part of the Magician's Society in order to keep her safe and prevent the revival of Demon King Krebskulm in the event of her death. Rem refused and became an adventurer to find a way to defeat Krebskulm's soul on her own. After gaining a number of Summoned Beasts, Rem decided the best way to defeat a Demon Lord is a Demon Lord and decided to summon one from another world. In Starfall Tower, she came to summon a Demon Lord and met an elf who also wanted to summon a Demon Lord. They both did the summoning ritual at the same time and summoned Diablo .
English. Rem Galleu is one of the female protagonists of the series. She is a Pantherian who became an invoker and had no choice but to become an adventurer and continue to demonstrate its strength, saying to aim to exterminate the Demon King Krebskrem.
Celestine wanted Rem to be part of the Magician's Society in order to keep her safe and prevent the revival of Demon King Krebskulm in the event of her death.
From left to right: Mike Mills (partially cropped), Michael Stipe, touring drummer Bill Rieflin, and Peter Buck. R.E.M. was an American rock band from Athens, Georgia, formed in 1980 by drummer Bill Berry, guitarist Peter Buck, bassist Mike Mills, and lead vocalist Michael Stipe, who were students at the University of Georgia.
R.E.M. is well known as an initialism for rapid eye movement, the dream stage of sleep ; however, sleep researcher Dr. Rafael Pelayo reports that when his colleague Dr. William Dement, the sleep scientist who coined the term REM, reached out to the band, Dr. Dement was told that the band was named "not after REM sleep".
Biographer David Buckley stated that between 1991 and 1994, a period that saw the band sell an estimated 30 million albums, R.E.M. "asserted themselves as rivals to U2 for the title of biggest rock band in the world.". Over the course of its career, the band has sold over 85 million records worldwide.
On June 25, 2019, The New York Times Magazine listed R.E.M. among hundreds of artists whose material was reportedly destroyed in the 2008 Universal fire. On March 24, 2020, session and touring drummer Bill Rieflin, who contributed on the band's last three records, died of cancer after years of battling the disease.
Frustrated that its records did not see satisfactory overseas distribution , R.E.M. left I.R.S. when its contract expired and signed with the major label Warner Bros. Records. Though other labels offered more money, R.E.M. ultimately signed with Warner Bros.—reportedly for an amount between $6 million and $12 million—due to the company's assurance of total creative freedom. (Jay Boberg claimed that R.E.M.'s deal with Warner Bros. was for $22 million, which Peter Buck disputed as "definitely wrong".) In the aftermath of the group's departure, I.R.S. released the 1988 "best of" compilation Eponymous (assembled with input from the band members) to capitalize on assets the company still possessed. The band's 1988 Warner Bros. debut, Green, was recorded in Memphis, Tennessee, and showcased the group experimenting with its sound. The record's tracks ranged from the upbeat first single " Stand " (a hit in the United States), to more political material, like the rock-oriented " Orange Crush " and "World Leader Pretend", which address the Vietnam War and the Cold War, respectively. Green has gone on to sell four million copies worldwide. The band supported the album with its biggest and most visually developed tour to date, featuring back-projections and art films playing on the stage. After the Green tour, the band members unofficially decided to take the following year off, the first extended break in the band's career. In 1990 Warner Bros. issued the music video compilation Pop Screen to collect clips from the Document and Green albums, followed a few months later by the video album Tourfilm featuring live performances filmed during the Green World Tour.

Liner notes from some of the band's albums list attorney Bertis Downs and manager Jefferson Holt as non-musical members.
R.E.M. recorded the Chronic Town EP with Mitch Easter in October 1981 , and planned to release it on a new indie label named Dasht Hopes. However, I.R.S. Records acquired a demo of the band's first recording session with Easter that had been circulating for months.
