Aikawa Chocola ( Aikawa Shokora ), is a dark chocolatier and the owner of Chocolat Noir, which lies beyond the forests. Chocola tends to sound evil every time she appears, but she might be the most kind-hearted chocolatier that ever existed in the whole earth, as she only takes things that won't be bothering the customer very much, and she knew that she doesn't make the wrong choice. Cacao always says that other chocolatier witches are not as kind as her, they're more as evil as Blanche .
Chocola is the only chocolatier that has a dark aura, but actually soft-hearted and kind.
Cacao was originally summoned by Shuga to form a deal, but after Shuga' sudden passing, Cacao is willing to form a contract with a then-young Chocola. Chocola accepted, and since then the two are together, working in Chocolat Noir. Cacao is a very mischievous and laid-back demon who doesn't seem to take a lot of things seriously, in contrast to Chocola' more stoic and serious personality, which led the two to often clash with each other. When Chocola is facing a calamity against a dangerous threat, Cacao would be there to save her. Cacao has feelings for Chocola, but it is unknown if Chocola returns the same feelings for Cacao. However, hints have been given out.
Back in Chocolat Noir, Cacao complimented Chocola's chocolate creation , which Chocola responded that the chocolate was far from perfect, and since then trained to hone her skills to perfection, to fulfil her and her father' dreams.
Chocola then casted a curse upon Shidou. Shidou snapped back to reality from his hallucination, approach by one of his students to give the chocolate a try. But when Shidou put the chocolate in his mouth, he didn't taste anything, no matter how many chocolate he ate at once, he couldn't taste anything. It has turned that the curse Chocola casted on Shidou has taken his sense and ability to taste food, being one of, if not, the first ever payment Chocola got from someone.
After the falldown of Aikawa Shuga's golden age, he has been driven insane by ambition and desperation to create the best chocolate in the world, putting unusual ingredients in his chocolate and even neglecting his own daughter. Many and many unsuccessful attmemp had led Shuga to summon a demon and form a contract to help him with his quest, the demon in Question being Cacao Theobrama.
And so Shuga brought Chocola to Cacao, but Shuga died due to Chocola's love to him as a daughter. Anyhow, Cacao will still take Chocola's soul for sacrifice because of summoning him.

The pair of them were found as strays on the side of the road by the Minadukis. Chocola is voiced by Bryn Apprill in the English Version and Vanilla is voiced by Natalie Hoover in the English Version.
Chocola has long brown hair tied into two pigtails with cat ears. Her eyes are amber and warm. She is found wearing dresses that are usually red or pink.

In conclusion, KoiChoco has its share of flaws and failings, however I can safely conclude that it is a decent anime which manages to capture the audience's attention and hold it through its airing. If you are intrigued by the premise of KoiChoco, I would certainly recommend that you give it a spin. Who knows, you might be amazed by what KoiChoco brings to the table.
Tthis anime is very much like it's in the respect that it doesn't make any sense whatsoever. The plot is broken and feels rushed to say the least. The score is lackluster and the characters are little more than boring stereotypes. Almost everything about this show screams 'average'. To be honest, I would've been happy if it was indeed average. But i was terribly disappointed.

When Miyatani came out from the piano room, everyone was out of control, as they always do when they speak about Miyatani. Then Miyatani ran away, as she didn't want to hear anything. Miyatani didn't notice that Eiji was looking at her. When she went out to the field, a ball hit her, and then her music scores fell. Then, Kawashima Ritsu said sorry. Miyatani says it's okay. But Ritsu looked mad because she said "Tch" at Miyatani. Miyatani looked at Ritsu weirdly. Then Ritsu said, "Too bad that your hand is not broken." She didn't stop playing piano every single day, then she eventually found it to be boring.
Later, Otsuki Eiji, a member of the photography club, asked Miyatani if he could take a picture of her playing the piano. Obviously, she accepted and when she was playing the piano for him, she felt like the piano was no longer a burden and felt very relaxed and happy.
Cacao's name is derived from the Cacao seed, in which cacao powder and chocolate are made. This could possibly be a reference to the strong relationship Cacao has to Chocola. However, in the anime, Cacao was named off of Cacao Cake, in which the former consumed, and enjoyed greatly.
She was found as a stray by Chocola, and was eventually adopted by Kashou and Shi gure as the newest member of the Minaduki catgirls. There is currently no news stating that she will appear in any other media.
Cacao has mint-colored short hair that hangs freely, not held up by ribbons or bows like the rest of the girls, besides Coconut. Being the youngest of catgirls, she is also the shortest, going up to Chocola's middle.
She was found as a stray by Chocola, and was eventually adopted by Kashou and Shigure as the newest member of the Minaduki catgirls. There is currently no news stating that she will appear in any other media.
As of the anime now, little to nothing is known about Cacao's history . She was found and taken in by Chocola as a stray; the latter feeling sorry for the former's situation. With time, Cacao would be adopted into the Minaduki household, and would grow close with the other members.
Cacao does not appear anywhere in the Visual Novel editions of Nekopara as of now, hen ce the exclusivity mentioned at the top of this page. Cacao is one of three of the Minaduki catgirls who's hair color does not match the food item they are name after, being mint, instead of the orange-like color Cacao seeds have.
