For some positives though, it is a pretty anime. You can feel the manga artist's touch in the visual style (needs more animation than a manga page though). It has a strong shoujo flair that brightens up the screen. It makes for a nice compliment to the feel-good romance.

Storyline

Sawako Kuronuma is misunderstood due to her resemblance to the ghost girl from The Ring. But one day the nicest boy in the class, Kazehaya befriends her and everything changed after that and also everyone perspective of Sawako but there's going to be struggle await for her up in the future.

1. Prologue

Teased for her spooky looks, Sawako Kuronuma receives some encouragement from her kind classmate Kazehaya and offers to be a ghost in a school event.

2. Seating Change

Sawako scares her classmates when she comes to school soaking wet, but Kazehaya and Yoshida show her some kindness. Kazehaya adopts a stray puppy.

3. After School

Sawako basks in the joy of greeting her friends. Later, she volunteers to make an attendance book as requested by Pin, the temporary homeroom teacher.

4. Rumors

A rumor spreads that Sawako is insulting her classmates Yoshida and Yano. While the two laugh off such claims, misunderstandings begin to occur.

5. Determination

Feeling bad for causing Yoshida and Yano trouble, Sawako puts some distance between her and her friends. Kazehaya confronts her about how she feels.

6. Friends

Sawako gets into a fight with a student who is gossiping about Yoshida and Yano in the bathroom. Just as things heat up, Yoshida and Yano appear.

7. Saturday Night

Yoshida and Yano invite Sawako to a ramen restaurant run by Ryu’s family. After eating, the girls hang out in Ryu's room and invite Kazehaya over.

Synopsis

Known for her semblance to the Sadako character of The Ring series, Sawako Kuronuma is given the nickname "Sadako" and misunderstood to be frightening and malicious like her fictional counterpart, despite having a timid and sweet nature.
