For some positives though, it is a pretty anime. You can feel the manga artist's touch in the visual style (needs more animation than a manga page though). It has a strong shoujo flair that brightens up the screen. It makes for a nice compliment to the feel-good romance.
Since the Kimi ni Todoke manga is still running, and the anime ended in 2011, it's safe to assume that the anime didn't adapt everything. However, I know that a lot of it was adapted reasonably faithfully, and I'd rather avoid rereading things which were part of the anime.
They took an anime that was a light hearted comedy and made it into a depressing drama for most of season 2. If you liked season 1 I suggest not getting your hopes up for season 2. It will make you feel depressed, angry or just upset and will leave a very horrible taste in certain episodes.

5 days agoOverall the 2nd Season of Kimi ni Todoke is an excellent conclusion to the series. Though even with its excellent ending it never feels like it equals the quality of the first one.
Angela, now with pink hair instead of blue, is walking outside, carefree and happy. She meets Terry outside in front of the food truck with a smile. With that, the movie ends. Angela has solved a murder and overcome her agoraphobia, Rear Window-style.
A happy ending in almost all the episodes ( wait, maybe all of them). In the second season, it's more focused on love. Kazehaya and Sawako will probably take their relationship to the next level, but more misunderstandings before that. The story is outstanding.
